All subsequent published revisions, the provisions of which will take precedence. An arbitration procedure is provided for in the FIHB Statutes and General Regulations referred to above. In accordance with this procedure, any appeal against a decision rendered by the FIHB or its official bodies is to be settled exclusively by the FIHB Disciplinary Commission. TEAMS (10 persons) Hotel: 7 hotel nights included in the inscription fee for 10 persons with arrival on Aug.14 th and departure on Aug.21 st Additional accommodation for the members of each National delegation and/or companions must be requested within Jan 31 st 2016 to Daniela ALVES at cevl@sapo.pt. We hotly suggest to book in advance those accommodations, please note that it will be very difficult to find accommodation in Ponte de Lima on August!!! Camping is available nearby at the cost of 50 per tent for the entire period. Please contact Daniela ALVES at cevl@sapo.pt for the reservations. An accommodation list is also available at the end of this preliminary program. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner for 10 persons for 7 days included in the inscription fee starting from dinner on Aug.14 th till breakfast on Aug.21 st Additional meals for the Members of each National delegation cost 10 each (lunch or dinner) per person in the Delegation Restaurant while for companions the meal costs 15 each (lunch or dinner) in the Panoramic Restaurant: the meal service begins from the dinner on Aug.14 th HORSES Transport: Rental: Stabling: First bed: Extras: transport expenses to be paid by the Teams. it is possible to rent horses on site. There are different prices for rented horses according to the transportation distance; please reserve as soon as possible in order to get the best price. stabling is free of charge for 9 boxes per team. straw and hay is free of charge. 9 3. WELCOME The time and date of arrival of riders and horses and their means of transport must be given to the OC in order to facilitate them on arrival. HORSE ENTRIES IN THE SHOW GROUND From Aug.13 th 2016 (Saturday): from 07:00 until 22:00 For late arrival please contact Mr. André PONCES DE CARVALHO at Horses must leave the Show Ground at latest on Sunday 21 st before 12:00. In the moment of the arriving the Team Leader must give the horses passports and the Identification cards of the players to the OC, in order to control the inscriptions and what is established in the FIHB Sport Rules and General Rules for horses and players. 4. ADVERTISING AND PUBLICITY ON TEAMS AND HORSES The Teams are authorised to carry the logos of their personal sponsor but anyway they have to inform FIHB first. 5. IMAGE RIGHTS All the images of the FIHB competitions are property of FIHB under International laws. Copying, duplicating as a digital file, printing, publishing in form of media including web, manipulating, ng, transmitting or reproducing without the prior written permission of FIHB is strictly forbidden and would constitute a breach of copyright. VI. Miscellaneous 1. OPENING CEREMONY All the National delegations (players, Team Leader and the Coach) must be present in the Opening Ceremony; the National delegation should wear a dress uniform. 2. PRIZES - CLASSIFICATION FIHB medals for the top three teams in each category; FIHB cup for the winner team in each category; FIHB WHR trophy for all the teams; FIHB WHR trophy for Best Fair Play Team for each category; FIHB WHR trophy for Best Horse/Player combination for each category; FIHB WHR trophy for Top Scorer for each category; Rosettes for all the players. The prize Best Horse/Player combination will be decided by the Team Leaders, Coaches and by the Ground Jury.The prize Best Fair Play Team will be decided by the pool of Referees and the Appeal Committee. PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY All the players must be present in the Prize Giving Ceremony with the Team Leader and the Coach; all the players will be on foot unless the two teams of the last final match that will be on horseback with their grooms available in order to be able to get down to get on the podium. All of them must respect the information of the Stewarts in order to guarantee the best ceremony organisation. 4. INSURANCES All owners, players and other members of the Teams are personally responsible for damages to third parties caused by themselves, their employees, their agents or their horses. They are therefore strongly advised to take out third-party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and to keep the policy up to date. 5. ENTRY RIGHT TO SHOWGROUNDS The entrance in the Show Area for Horse-Ball matches is free. The entrance on the Stables Area is just allowed for Teams Leader, Coach). (players, Team 6. 11 VII. Veterinary Matters 1. VETERINARY INSPECTION BEFORE THE MATCHES A veterinary inspection will be carried out each day on all participating teams for that day at least two hours before the matches. During the veterinary inspection, all the players of a team must wear the same uniform (riding pants and game shirt) and correct riding footwear (long boots). 2. SHOW VETERINARY Name: Dr.Bruno Miranda Phone: The Veterinary s service will grant free assistance within the period while the players are on. Outside this period, the cost will be at the player s expense. 3. CUSTOMS FORMALITIES NFs holding an international event in their country should inform their National Veterinary Authority and their Customs Authority at least four weeks beforehand. They should request every facility to assist the movement of horses accompanied by FEI or NF s Passports, and the necessary veterinary certification at frontier points into and out their countries. (Vet. Regs. Art ) Only compulsory for horses from EU third countries: Valid international Animal Transport Certificate, Competent Authority Transport of animals referred to, in chapter of Annex to Directive 77/489/EEC. 4. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENTRY OF HORSES Details on compulsory health tests and, where applicable, quarantine period and protocol, etc. PLEASE APPEND SPECIMEN IMPORT LICENCES WICH WILL BE APPLIED TO HORSES ATTENDING THIS EVENT. In case of doubt or problems, please contact the FEI Veterinary Department as soon as possible. VIII. Competitions 1.
