3 2.Funcionamento a) Objectivos: Português Tendo presente a necessidade de contactos de um profissional desta área com outros países e, muitas vezes, das deslocações aos mesmos, nesta unidade curricular pretende-se que o aluno adquira vocabulário específico, em Língua Inglesa, utilizado sempre que é necessário lidar com deslocações para fora do país ou quando se recebe alguém de um outro país. Este vocabulário pode incluir a marcação de quartos num hotel, dar entrada no hotel, sair do hotel, saber encomendar num restaurante, etc. Serão ainda revistas e consolidadas estruturas gramaticais da Língua Inglesa. English Taking into account these professionals' need to contact with other countries and very often their need to travel to foreign countries, this curricular unit aims at providing the students with English specific vocabulary, used whenever it is necessary to deal with travelling abroad or when someone comes from a foreign country. This vocabulary may include the booking of hotel rooms, checking in, checking out, ordering in a restaurant, etc. b) Regime de frequencia e metodologia de avaliação: As aulas serão teórico-práticas, sendo, assim, a primeira parte da aula mais expositiva e a segunda a aplicação prática da primeira. Avaliação: A. Avaliação da Unidade Curricular através de duas frequências a realizar nas horas lectivas, tendo, assim, a duração de 90 minutos cada e de um trabalho prático, individual ou em grupo, que deverá ser entregue ao professor em suporte papel e apresentado oralmente na aula. Assim: - Testes: 15 valores ( ) - Trabalho prático: 5 valores Se o aluno optar por esta modalidade de avaliação, terá que assistir a um mínimo de 80% das aulas leccionadas. B. Avaliação da Unidade Curricular através de um exame escrito final a realizar nas épocas normais de exames cotado para 20 valores. Este exame deverá incluir a matéria das duas frequências da modalidade de avaliação atrás referida e terá a duração de uma hora e meia. Se o aluno tiver nota inferior a 7.5 reprova; se tiver nota igual ou superior a 9.5 fica aprovado; se tiver de 7.5 a 9.4 terá que fazer um exame oral. Continuous evaluation - it will consist of two tests during lessons, lasting about 90 minutes each and a practical work, either individual or in group, both written and oral, to present in class. So: - Tests: 15 marks ( ) - Practical work: 5 If the student chooses this type of evaluation, he will have to attend 80% of the classes. B. Final evaluation: final written exam for 20 marks. This exam will include the contents of the two tests of the continuous assessment and it will last 90 minutes. If the student gets less than 7.5 marks in the exam, he fails; if he has 9.5 or more than 9.5 he passes; if he gets from 7.5 to 9.5, he will have to do an oral exam. The final grade is the average of both exams: the written and the oral.
