Objetivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências) O programa de Microeconomic Analysis foi desenvolvido com o intuito de promover o raciocínio crítico e a capacidade dos alunos de pensar como economistas. No final da unidade curricular o aluno deverá ser capaz de compreender o raciocínio de análise microeconómica, suportado em instrumentos matemáticos nucleares; perceber o comportamento dos agentes económicos na sociedade contemporânea, a partir de conceitos abordados nas aulas e aplicar os conhecimentos adquiridos em contextos relacionados com a economia financeira. 3 Metodologias de ensino (avaliação incluída) Nos termos do Regulamento de Avaliação em vigor, o aluno pode optar pelos regimes de avaliação contínua ou de exame final. O aluno terá aprovação se obtiver em qualquer dos regimes uma classificação não inferior a 10 valores. O regime de avaliação contínua é constituído pela entrega de relatórios individuais e por um teste sem consulta, cada componente com a ponderação de 40% e 60%, respetivamente. The students intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) The program of Microeconomic Analysis was developed in order to promote students? critical thinking and their ability to think as economists. At the end of the course the student should be able to understand the reasoning of microeconomic analysis, supported by mathematical tools; understand the behavior of economic agents in contemporary society, from concepts and models studied in class and to apply the acquired knowledge to financial economics issues. 6 Teaching methodologies (including evaluation) According to the rules of the specific Regulations of the Faculty, the evaluation of the students is based on two optional models: continuous evaluation or final exam. Students will complete successfully the course if in each model the final mark is equal or superior to 9,5 values (out of 20). Continuous evaluation - consists of individual written works and one closed book written test, each with a weighting of 40% and 60% of the final mark, respectively.
