Anointing of the Sick The church encourages & invites all who are ill, who are to undergo surgery, or who are confined to their home due to illness to be prayed over & anointed with sacred oil. 5 Saint Anthony Parish O Evangelho da Misericórdia Formação para o Ano da Misericórdia a partir do Evangelho de S. Lucas Orientado por Diác. Bruno Nobre, SJ No Ano Santo da Misericórdia, vamos explorar o tema da Misericórdia Divina a partir do Evangelho segundo S. Lucas, também conhecido como o Evangelho da Misericórdia. Depois de uma breve introdução ao Evangelho de S. Lucas, iremos, ao longo das cinco semanas seguintes, refletir sobre passagens de S. Lucas que nos convidam a aprofundar o mistério de um Deus cujo nome é Misericórdia. Cada sessão terá a duração de 1h, e incluirá uma breve exposição sobre a passagem evangélica proposta para a sessão, ao qual se seguirá um tempo de partilha e diálogo. 8 Paróquia Santo António Papa Francisco Pope Francis Papa Francisco convidou todos os fiéis para participar das "24 horas para o Senhor.", um momento onde toda a igreja estará unida em oração diante do Santíssimo Sacramento. Nós encorajamos todos os nossos grupos e paroquianos a aderirem a este chamado, participando em algum momento da adoração que começará na sexta-feira 4 de Março após a Missa das 6:30 pm e terminará antes da Missa das 4 pm do Sábado. Será organizada escala entre as pastorais e grupos de oração. Pope Francis invited all the faithful to participate in the "24 hours for the Lord.", A time where the whole church will be united in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. We encourage all our groups and parishioners to join this call, participating in a time of worship which will begin on Friday, March 4 after 6:30 pm Mass and end before the 4 pm Mass on Saturday. There will be a schedule for the pastorals and prayer groups. Matthew 25:36-40 On Sunday February 28, the Soladicio Rosario Prayer group, will be serving a lunch to the poor of the poor at Fr. Ferreira Parish Hall from 11:30-1:00 p.m. If you know of someone who could use a hot meal please let them know where to come or bring him or her along to join us. Lunch will be free and we will be serving soup and a sandwich. A movie will also be shown throughout the afternoon. If you like to help by serving the food, all are welcome!
