Margarida Maria Amaro Teixeira Rodrigues 13,5 h Alfredo Gomes Dias 13,5 OBJETIVOS DE APRENDIZAGEM (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências a desenvolver pelos estudantes) Esta unidade curricular visa, por um lado, aprofundar o conhecimento teórico acerca da temática da integração de saberes e, por outro, suscitar a sua operacionalização em projetos de intervenção. No final desta Unidade Curricular, os formandos devem ser capazes de: Identificar, analisar e problematizar situações e contextos de integração curricular no 1.º ciclo. Adquirir de forma integrada as competências essenciais em áreas específicas, em particular as áreas disciplinares de Matemática e Ciências Sociais. Elaborar, de forma fundamentada, com base em resultados de investigação recente, sequências de aprendizagem de integração curricular, integrando aquelas duas áreas curriculares. Trabalhar de forma cooperativa em equipa. Resolver problemas e desenvolver planos de ação. Aprofundar a capacidade para relacionar o saber e o fazer, associando de modo intrínseco a produção à aprendizagem. LEARNING OUTCOMES (knowledge, aptitudes and skills to be developed by the students) This Curricular Unit aims, on one hand, to deepen the theoretical knowledge about the theme of the integration of knowledge and on the other, raise its operationalization in intervention projects. At the end of this Curricular Unit, students should be able to: Página 1 de 5

2 Identify, analyze and discuss situations and contexts of curricular integration in the 1st Cycle; Acquire, in an integrated way, basic skills in specific areas, in particular the areas of Mathematics and Social Sciences; Develop, based on results of recent research, learning sequences of curricular integration, integrating those two curriculum areas; Work collaboratively in teams; Solve problems and develop action plans; Enhance the capacity to relate knowledge and practice, learning and production. DEMONSTRAÇÃO DA COERÊNCIA DOS CONTEÚDOS PROGRAMÁTICOS COM OS OBJETIVOS DA UC O trabalho de projeto, partindo de situações reais que possam constituir problemas, tem uma dimensão integradora de saberes. Trata-se de uma modalidade de trabalho que favorece o desenvolvimento integrado das competências essenciais em áreas específicas, nomeadamente a Matemática e o Estudo Página 2 de 5

3 do Meio Social, bem como uma gestão curricular que potencie o estabelecimento de conexões. Esta UC pretende constituir-se como um espaço de pesquisa, reflexão e debate sistemático sobre a identificação de metodologias e instrumentos de trabalho que permitam criar um contexto promotor de aprendizagens integradas. Para tal, é fundamental clarificar conceitos, nomeadamente os de multidisciplinaridade e de integração curricular. A integração das áreas disciplinares de Matemática e Ciências Sociais potencia a análise crítica das funções da aplicação da matemática na sociedade, sendo um contributo para a formação de cidadãos reflexivos, críticos, interventivos e participativos na vida da sociedade. DEMONSTRATION OF THE SYLLABUS COHERENCE WITH THE CURRICULAR UNIT'S OBJECTIVES The project work, arising from real situations, has an integrative dimension of knowledge. It is a type of work that favors the integrated development of basic skills in specific areas, namely Mathematics and the Study of Social Environment, as well as a curriculum management that enhances the establishment of connections. This curricular unit aims to establish itself as an area of research, reflection and systematic debate on the identification of methodologies and tools which create a context promoter of integrated learning. For this it is vital to clarify concepts, in particular the multidisciplinary and curricular integration. The integration of Mathematics and Social Sciences enhances the critical analysis of the functions of the application of mathematics in society, being a contribution to the formation of reflective, critical, interventional and participatory citizens in society. METODOLOGIAS DE ENSINO (AVALIAÇÃO INCLUÍDA) A UC contempla sessões teórico-práticas e sessões de orientação tutorial. As sessões teórico-práticas podem assumir diferentes modalidades, entre as quais se destacam: Leitura, análise e discussão de textos alusivos aos temas; Apresentação, discussão e sistematização de informação, tendo como base autores de referência e resultados de investigação recente na didática; Análise crítica e discussão de exemplos de projetos curriculares integrados e desenvolvidos em contextos escolares; Análise de produções de crianças, do ponto de vista da integração de saberes. A orientação tutorial centra-se no apoio à elaboração dos trabalhos práticos. A avaliação contínua terá por base: (i) a conceção de um projeto de intervenção, em grupo (40%); (ii) trabalhos práticos realizados, em grupo, em aula (10%) e (iii) reflexão escrita individual e presencial sobre os trabalhos de grupo realizados (50%). A avaliação por exame será feita através da realização de uma prova escrita de índole teórico-prática. TEACHING METHODOLOGIES (INCLUDING EVALUATION) This Curricular Unit includes theoretical and practical sessions and tutorial orientation sessions. The theoretical-practical sessions can take different forms, among which are: Reading, analysis and discussion of texts allusive to themes; Presentation, discussion and systematization of information, based on reference authors and on the Página 3 de 5

4 results of recent research on didactics; Critical analysis and discussion of examples of curriculum projects developed in school contexts; Analysis of children s productions, from the point of view of integration of knowledge. The tutorial orientation focuses on giving support to practical work. Continuous assessment will be based on: (i) a design of an integration project in group (40%), (ii) practical work in group, in class (10%) and (iii) individual writing reflection about the group work performed, in class (50%). The assessment by exam will be a written test of theoretical and practical nature. DEMONSTRAÇÃO DA COERÊNCIA DAS METODOLOGIAS DE ENSINO COM OS OBJETIVOS DE APRENDIZAGEM DA UC A análise de (i) textos de investigação de referência, (ii) produções de alunos no âmbito do seu trabalho escolar e, (iii) exemplos de projetos curriculares integrados, permite identificar problemas ao nível da integração curricular. A reflexão feita a partir da leitura desses textos permite equacionar, de forma fundamentada, possíveis soluções para esses problemas. A análise de produções de alunos e de projetos curriculares integrados permite o desenvolvimento, por parte dos estudantes, de competências de gestão curricular, bem como de estratégias de integração curricular no 1.º Ciclo, possibilitando ainda o desenvolvimento integrado das áreas específicas envolvidas na UC. As leituras feitas, a apresentação e partilha de informação, a discussão centrada em textos de referência contribuem para o conhecimento da investigação desenvolvida no âmbito da integração curricular, possibilitando a mobilização desse conhecimento nos projetos de intervenção a desenvolver pelos estudantes. DEMONSTRATION OF THE COHERENCE BETWEEN THE TEACHING METHODOLOGIES AND THE LEARNING OUTCOMES: The analysis of: i) research reference texts, ii) students productions within their school work and iii) examples of curricular integration projects, can identify problems at the level of curriculum integration. The reflection made from the reading of these texts allows to consider, in a substantiated manner, possible solutions for these problems. The analysis of students productions and integrated curriculum projects helps developing skills of competencies of curriculum management, as well as strategies for curriculum integration, also enabling the integrated development of the specific areas of this CU. The readings, presentation and sharing of information, discussion centered on reference texts contribute to the knowledge of research undertaken as part of the curriculum integration, enabling the mobilization of this knowledge in intervention projects to be undertaken by trainees.
