Explicitar o papel das Ciências Sociais e das Ciências da Natureza no crescimento global e harmonioso da criança. Organizar e gerir as Orientações Curriculares para a Educação Pré-Escolar em função dos contextos educativos e da diversidade de crianças. Experienciar metodologias ativas, integradoras dos diferentes saberes, que permitam o desenvolvimento de competências cognitivas, socioafetivas e psico-motoras da criança. Planificar, implementar e avaliar estratégias de aprendizagem, recorrendo a conhecimentos de diferentes áreas do saber. Perspetivar a intervenção em Educação Pré-Escolar numa lógica de metodologia de projeto. CONTEÚDOS PROGRAMÁTICOS Contextualização da Área de Conteúdo Conhecimento do Mundo em documentos e orientações de referência Orientações Curriculares para a Educação Pré-Escolar. Relevância da abordagem das Ciências Físico Naturais e das Ciências Sociais na Educação Pré-Escolar. As noções de Espaço e Tempo no desenvolvimento global da criança. Os Processos Científicos na abordagem das ciências em Educação Pré-Escolar. Metodologias investigativas para a construção de atividades com crianças (0-6 anos) O meio próximo como laboratório didático. Tipologia de atividades para exploração do mundo com crianças dos 0-6 anos (capacidades básicas, atividades de observação/classificação, atividades exploratórias, pesquisas, exemplificações, atividades investigativas). Abordagens integradas e metodologia de projeto a partir do Conhecimento do Mundo. SYLLABUS - Contextualization of the "Knowledge of the World" Content Area in reference documents and guidelines - Curricular Guidelines for Pre-School Education. - Relevance of the approach of Natural Physical Sciences and Social Sciences in Pre-School Education. - The notions of Space and Time in the overall development of the child. - The Scientific Processes in the approach of the sciences in Pre-school Education. - Investigative methodologies for the construction of activities with children (0-6 years) - The environment as didactic laboratory. - Typology of activities to explore the world with children from 0-6 years (basic skills, observation / classification activities, exploratory activities, research, exemplifications, research activities). - Integrated approaches and design methodology from the "Knowledge of the World". DEMONSTRAÇÃO DA COERÊNCIA DOS CONTEÚDOS PROGRAMÁTICOS COM OS OBJETIVOS DA UC Os conteúdos programáticos articulam-se com os objetivos definidos e que conduzem os alunos na Página 2 de 5

3 exploração do contributo das Ciências Naturais e das Ciências Sociais para a construção de uma intervenção pedagógica, com crianças dos 0 aos 6, teórica e metodologicamente sustentada. A abordagem à metodologia de projeto e à planificação de atividades que integrem diversas áreas de conteúdo a partir do Conhecimento do Mundo conduzem à exploração e reflexão sobre metodologias ativas e integradoras dos diferentes saberes e à construção de um conjunto de ferramentas que permitam perspetivar a intervenção com crianças (dos 0 aos 6 anos) no sentido do seu desenvolvimento global e harmonioso. DEMONSTRATION OF THE SYLLABUS COHERENCE WITH THE CURRICULAR UNIT'S OBJECTIVES The syllabus contents are articulated with the defined objectives and lead students to explore the contribution of the Natural Sciences and Social Sciences to the construction of a pedagogical intervention with children from 0 to 6, theoretically and methodologically sustained. The approach to the project methodology and the planning of activities that integrate several areas of content from the Knowledge of the World lead to the exploration and reflection on active and integrative methodologies of the different knowledge and to the construction of a set of tools that allow to prospect the intervention with Children (from 0 to 6 years) in the sense of their overall and harmonious development. METODOLOGIAS DE ENSINO (AVALIAÇÃO INCLUÍDA) Os formandos serão avaliados numa escala de 0 a 20 valores através: (1) da construção de uma sequência integrada de atividades, em pequeno grupo, em contexto de sala de aula; Este elemento de avaliação exige um trabalho contínuo por parte dos formandos e um acompanhamento permanente do processo por parte dos docentes; este elemento consubstancia-se num produto escrito (sequência de atividades e respetivas fundamentações teórica, pedagógica e didática) que é apresentado oralmente em plenário de turma; (2) de uma reflexão individual realizada no final do exercício prático. A classificação final do trabalho de grupo resulta da aplicação de um conjunto de itens de avaliação, constantes do guião de trabalho, para análise do produto escrito e do desempenho dos formandos na apresentação e discussão oral. A classificação final da avaliação contínua será obtida através de uma média ponderada entre a avaliação dos trabalhos de grupo (80%) e a avaliação da reflexão individual (20%). Página 3 de 5

4 Regime de exame: O programa de exame corresponde à realização de uma sequência integrada de atividades, que mobilize os conteúdos programáticos previstos a entregar 48h antes da realização de uma reflexão/discussão individual (presencial). TEACHING METHODOLOGIES (INCLUDING EVALUATION) The trainees will be evaluated on a scale of 0 to 20 values through: (1) the construction of an integrated sequence of activities, in a small group, in the context of the classroom; This element of evaluation requires continuous work on the part of the trainees and a permanent monitoring of the process by the teachers; This element consists of a written product (sequence of activities and respective theoretical, pedagogical and didactic foundations) that is presented orally in the class plenary; (2) an individual reflection carried out at the end of the practical exercise. The final classification of the group work results from the application of a set of assessment items, included in the working script, to analyze the written product and the performance of the trainees in the presentation and oral discussion. The final classification of the continuous evaluation will be obtained through a weighted average between the evaluation of the group work (80%) and the evaluation of the individual reflection (20%). Examination regime: The examination program corresponds to the realization of an integrated sequence of activities, which mobilizes the programmed content to be delivered 48 hours prior to the individual reflection (discussion). DEMONSTRAÇÃO DA COERÊNCIA DAS METODOLOGIAS DE ENSINO COM OS OBJETIVOS DE APRENDIZAGEM DA UC A aprendizagem será realizada segundo duas componentes articuladas entre si: (i) a primeira, de informação e problematização de aspectos teóricos e conceptuais integrando o quotidiano dos alunos, o seu conhecimento do mundo e as práticas já desenvolvidas e a desenvolver com crianças dos 0 aos 6 anos; (ii) a segunda, assente numa metodologia investigativa e reflexiva, fomentando o desenvolvimento de competências pessoais e profissionais e privilegiando a conquista da autonomia no decurso do processo de aprendizagem. As sessões desenvolvem-se tentando integrar o saber teórico com a implementação de trabalhos práticos, em grupo e individuais, desenvolvendo projetos integrados, centrados na área de Conhecimento do Mundo. DEMONSTRATION OF THE COHERENCE BETWEEN THE TEACHING METHODOLOGIES AND THE LEARNING OUTCOMES: The learning will be carried out according to two components articulated among themselves: (i) the first one, of information and problematization of theoretical and conceptual aspects integrating the daily life Página 4 de 5

5 of the students, their knowledge of the world and the practices already developed and developed with children from 0 to 6 years; (Ii) the second, based on an investigative and reflexive methodology, fostering the development of personal and professional competences and privileging the achievement of autonomy in the course of the learning process. The sessions are developed trying to integrate theoretical knowledge with the implementation of practical work, in groups and individuals, developing integrated projects, centered in the area of Knowledge of the World.
