2 English Instructions for use: CI RD Straumann PUREbase Note: In the following document CI RD Straumann PUREbase stands also for CI RD Straumann CARES PUREbase. Caution: U.S. federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a dental professional. 1. Product description Abutments Abutments are placed into dental implants to provide support for prosthetic reconstructions such as crowns and bridges. Basal Screws Basal screws are used for fixing the abutment to the dental implant. Bonding Aid Bonding aids are indicated for the correct alignment between CI RD Straumann PUREbase abutment and coping/crown. 2. Intended use Prosthetic components directly connected to the endosseous dental implant are intended for use as an aid in prosthetic rehabilitations. 3. Indications The CI RD Straumann PUREbase abutment is a titanium base placed onto Straumann ceramic dental implants to provide support for customized prosthetic restorations. CI RD Straumann PUREbase is indicated for screw-retained single tooth or cement-retained single tooth and bridge restorations. 4. Contraindications Please consider any potential allergies or hypersensitivity to chemical ingredients, please refer to the label. 5. Warnings Products must be secured against aspiration/ swallowing when handled intraorally. Aspiration/swallowing of products may lead to infection or unplanned physical injury. The CI RD Straumann PUREbase abutment and bonding aids are single-use devices. Place implant-borne restorations only in occlusion when the implant is completely osseointegrated. Use appropriate cement and cement removal techniques. After cementation carefully remove all cement residuals. An implant is only to be restored with the corresponding original abutment compatible with that specific implant. Modification of the CI RD Straumann PUREbase abutment height is not allowed since no conventional workflow is available for the PURE Ceramic Implant (only digital workflow available). Torque values greater than 35 Ncm may result in failure of the abutment and/or implant. Torque values less than the recommended values may result in loosening of the abutment, which may lead to abutment and/or implant failure. 6. Cautions Sterile handling is essential. Never use potentially contaminated components. Contamination may lead to infections. Proper alignment between CI RD Straumann PUREbase abutment and crown/coping is crucial, user shall use the bonding aid within the appropriate procedure for cementation. Misalignment may lead to chipping of the implant collar or a microgap between restoration and implant. Use the devices immediately after sterilization Do not store sterilized devices. 7. MRI safety information Non-clinical testing has demonstrated that CI RD Straumann PUREbase abutment is MR Conditional. More information are available in /en MRI Safety Information. 8. Compatibility information Straumann implants and the prosthetic components are available in a variety of configurations to meet your clinical needs. The label on each product uses abbreviations to help you identify whether a particular abutment or coping/crown is compatible with the implant that you are restoring. Both the implant and the prosthetic component contain an identifier for the connection type, as summarized in the table below. Implant connection type RD (Regular Diameter) Compatible prostheses parts labeled RD 9. Cleaning and disinfection CI RD Straumann PUREbase and its components are non-sterile when delivered. Before placing the restoration in the patient s mouth, the product must be cleaned, disinfected and sterilized. Straumann recommends the following procedure for the cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of abutments prior to use: Clean the abutment rinsing it under running water while brushing the outside and inside with suitable brushes. The pre-treated product is to be cleaned/disinfected in an automated washer disinfector. Select the appropriate program according to the manufacturer s instructions. 10. Sterilization The restoration may be sterilized unwrapped or can be placed in an accessory cassette and packaged twice in standard sterilization wraps (paper/film bags). Steam sterilize according to the following parameters: Material Method Conditions PUREbase, TAN Screw, TAN Autoclave (moist heat) Displacement: gravity or fractionated vacuum 134 C (273 F) 5 minutes Please note: User should ensure the use of the appropriate biological indicator for the sterilizer and parameters used. Please note: User should consult the coping/ crown/restoration material manufacturer s recommendations regarding sterilization. Caution: Use devices immediately after sterilization. Do not store sterilized devices. 11. Procedure Use and handling of the CI RD Straumann PUREbase for the dental technician Restoration design Using a digital workflow, the CI RD Straumann PUREbase Implant Kit can be used with any software platform to facilitate the precise design of the interface between the CI RD Straumann PUREbase abutment and the coping/crown. The CI RD Straumann PUREbase Implant Kit consists of an STL file containing the required milling template for the inner coping/crown geometry. The CI RD Straumann PUREbase should be processed with the digital workflow only. Please note: The following framework wall thickness guidelines must be followed: For ceramic materials a framework wall thickness 0.4 mm For polymer materials a framework wall thickness 0.5 mm 2

3 Processing Always retrieve final crown or coping prior to bonding to the CI RD Straumann PUREbase. For doing open tray impression: After impression taking and repositioning and fixing of analog mount the CI RD Sleeve onto the Repositionable Implant Analog. The Sleeve ensures proper fit of the Repositionable Implant Analog and controls occlusion height in the master cast. Afterwards continue with fabricating the master cast with gingiva mask. Bonding Please note: It is not necessary to sandblast the CI RD Straumann PUREbase. a) Remove gingiva mask. b) Exchange implant analog with bonding aid (included in CI RD PUREbase package). c) Shorten tip of bonding aid if sticking out from the bottom of the master model. d) Fix the CI RD Straumann PUREbase to the bonding aid with a screw (hand-tight). e) Prior to bonding confirm the position of the crown according to the actual patient anatomy. f) Seal the screw channel with e.g. wax. g) Follow the instructions for priming. h) Apply and distribute self-adhesive dental cement on the abutment and the inner surface of the crown/coping. Only suitable self-adhesive cementation systems for the material used shall be used. Follow the relevant manufacturer s instructions for use for both the dental material and cement/bonding material. i) Bond the coping/crown with a right-left movement to the CI RD Straumann PUREbase. j) Immediately remove excess cement (e.g. from the screw channel). Please note: Remaining cement can lead to a microgap and untight fit. Do not fire the abutment after bonding. k) Ensure with a right/left movement that no cement is between restoration and bonding aid. l) Press crown/coping down for at least two minutes to avoid push-back effect of the cement. m) Follow the cement manufacturer s instructions for hardening. Keep pressing down during hardening. n) Untighten basal screw o) Remove excessive cement using a sharp, but not cutting or rotating, dental explorer instrument. p) Use a magnifying glass to check tight fit of crown/coping on implant analog. Check correct fit of the restoration in the model. q) Clean the restoration before sending it to the dentist. r) Include these instructions for use when sending the restoration to the dentist. Use and handling of the CI RD Straumann PUREbase for the dentist removing the restoration from the master cast or analog Check tight fit of restoration in master model or analog. Use only when there is no visible microgap between restoration and implant analog. Clean, disinfect and sterilize the device as described in sections 7 and 8 of these instructions for use. Placing the restoration a) Remove the healing cap or temporary restoration. b) Thoroughly clean and dry the interior of the implant and the abutment. c) Place the sterilized restoration in the patient s mouth. d) Make sure that the retentive elements of the implant-abutment connection are correctly aligned. Use the screw delivered with the abutment to screw the abutment into the dental implant. Please note: Always ensure that the surfaces of threads and screw heads are clean and that a new screw is used for the restoration. Straumann abutments are fixed to the implant using the Straumann SCS Screwdriver, Ratchet and Torque Control Device. 4 Deutsch Gebrauchsanweisung: CI RD Straumann PUREbase Hinweis: Im folgenden Dokument steht CI RD Straumann PUREbase auch für Straumann CI RD CARES PUREbase. 1. Produktbeschreibung Sekundärteile Sekundärteile werden in Dentalimplantate eingesetzt. Sie dienen als Stützung der prothetischen Versorgung, z. B. Kronen oder Brücken. Basisschrauben Basisschrauben werden zur Befestigung des Sekundärteils im Dentalimplantat verwendet. Verklebehilfe Verklebehilfen erleichtern die passgenaue Ausrichtung des CI RD Straumann PUREbase-Sekundärteils mit der Kappe/Krone. 2. Vorgesehene Verwendung Direkt mit dem enossalen Dentalimplantat verbundene Sekundärteile sind zur Stützung und Retention der prothetischen Versorgung vorgesehen. 3. Indikationen Das CI RD Straumann PUREbase-Sekundärteil ist eine Titanbasis, die in das Straumann Dentalimplantat aus Keramik eingesetzt wird, um als Stützung für individualisierte prothetische Versorgungen zu dienen. CI RD Straumann PUREbase ist für verschraubte Einzelzahn- oder zementierte Einzelzahn- und Brückenversorgungen indiziert. 4. Kontraindikationen Mögliche Allergien oder eine Überempfindlichkeit des Patienten gegenüber den auf dem Produktetikett aufgeführten chemischen Bestandteilen sind zu berücksichtigen. 5. Warnungen Bei der intraoralen Anwendung sind die Produkte gegen Aspiration/Verschlucken zu sichern. Die Aspiration/das Verschlucken von Produkten kann eine Infektion oder eine unvorhergesehene Verletzung des Patienten zur Folge haben. Das CI RD Straumann PUREbase-Sekundärteil und die Verklebehilfen sind Einmalartikel. Implantatgetragene Versorgungen dürfen erst nach vollständiger Osseointegration des Implantats in Okklusion eingesetzt werden. Verwenden Sie geeignete Zementierungs- und Zemententfernungstechniken. Entfernen Sie nach dem Zementieren der Komponenten sorgfältig alle Zementüberschüsse. Zur restaurativen Versorgung eines Implantats darf nur das passende, mit diesem Implantat kompatible Original-Sekundärteil verwendet werden. Die Höhe des CI RD Straumann PUREbase-Sekundärteils darf nicht modifiziert werden, da für das PURE Ceramic Implantat kein herkömmlicher Workflow zur Verfügung steht (nur digitaler Workflow). Ein Eindrehmoment von mehr als 35 Ncm kann zum Versagen des Sekundärteils und/ oder Implantats führen. Eindrehmomente, die unter den empfohlenen Werten liegen, können zu einer Lockerung des Sekundärteils und in der Folge zum Versagen des Sekundärteils und/oder Implantats führen. 6. Warnungen Eine aseptische Handhabung ist unerlässlich. Unter keinen Umständen Komponenten verwenden, bei denen Verdacht auf Kontamination besteht. Jede Kontamination kann eine Infektion auslösen. Beim Zementieren in der geeigneten Technik müssen das CI RD Straumann PUREbase-Sekundärteil und die Kappe/Krone ordnungsgemäss aufeinander ausgerichtet sein. Verwenden Sie daher die Verklebehilfe. Eine Fehlausrichtung der Komponenten kann ein Abplatzen des Implantatkragens oder einen Mikrospalt zwischen der Versorgung und dem Implantat zur Folge haben. Verwenden Sie die Produkte unmittelbar nach der Sterilisation. Sterilisierte Produkte nicht lagern. 7. MRT-Sicherheitsinformation Nicht klinische Tests haben gezeigt, dass das CI RD Straumann PUREbase-Sekundärteil bedingt MR-sicher ist. Informationen zur Kompatibilität Straumann Implantate und Prothetikkomponenten sind in einer Vielzahl von Konfigurationen erhältlich, um alle Ihre klinischen Anforderungen zu erfüllen. Anhand der Abkürzungen auf den Produktetiketten können Sie leicht erkennen, ob ein bestimmtes Sekundärteil oder eine Kappe/ Krone mit dem entsprechenden Implantat kompatibel ist. Wie der nachstehenden Tabelle zu entnehmen ist, enthalten sowohl die Implantatbezeichnungen als auch die Bezeichnungen der Prothetikkomponenten eine eindeutige Kennung für den Verbindungstyp. Implantatverbindung RD (Regular Diameter) Kompatible Prothetik Mit RD gekennzeichnete Komponenten 9. Reinigung und Desinfektion CI RD Straumann PUREbase und die zugehörigen Komponenten werden unsteril geliefert. Vor dem Einsetzen der prothetischen Versorgung in den Mund des Patienten muss das Produkt gereinigt, desinfiziert und sterilisiert werden. Straumann empfiehlt das nachstehende Verfahren für die Reinigung, Desinfektion und Sterilisation der Sekundärteile vor dem Gebrauch: Reinigen Sie die äusseren und inneren Flächen des Sekundärteils unter fliessendem Wasser und mit geeigneten Bürsten. Anschliessend muss das vorgereinigte Produkt in einem automatischen Reinigungs-Desinfektionsgerät gereinigt und desinfiziert werden. Wählen Sie das passende Programm gemäss Gebrauchsanweisung des Herstellers. 10. Sterilisation Die Prothetikkomponenten können unverpackt sterilisiert werden. Alternativ können sie in eine Zubehörkassette platziert und in zwei Lagen Standard-Sterilisationsfolie oder -papier eingeschlagen werden. Dampfsterilisation gemäss den nachstehenden Parametern: Material Verfahren Parameter PUREbase, TAN Schraube, TAN Autoklav (feuchte Hitze) Fraktioniertes 134 C Vakuumverfahren 5 Minuten oder Gravitationsverfahren Hinweis: Verwenden Sie die für das Sterilisationsgerät und die eingestellten Sterilisationsparameter geeigneten biologischen Indikatoren. Hinweis: Die Sterilisationsempfehlungen des Materialherstellers der Kappe/Krone/prothetischen Versorgung sind zu beachten. Achtung: Produkte unmittelbar nach der Sterilisation verwenden. Sterilisierte Produkte nicht lagern. 11. Vorgehensweise Für den Zahntechniker: Verwendung und Handhabung von CI RD Straumann PUREbase Design der prothetischen Versorgung Das im digitalen Workflow verwendete Implantatkit CI RD Straumann PUREbase erleichtert die präzise Gestaltung der Verbindung zwischen dem CI RD Straumann PUREbase-Sekundärteil und der Kappe/Krone. Das Kit ist mit jeder Softwareplattform kompatibel. Das Implantatkit CI 4

5 RD Straumann PUREbase enthält eine STL-Datei mit der Fräsvorlage für die Innengeometrie der Kappe/Krone. Das CI RD Straumann PUREbase darf nur im digitalen Workflow bearbeitet werden. Hinweis: Die nachstehenden Richtlinien zur Wandstärke des Gerüsts müssen eingehalten werden: Für Keramikmaterialien: Wandstärke des Gerüsts 0.4 mm Für Polymermaterialien: Wandstärke des Gerüsts 0.5 mm Bearbeitung Stellen Sie die Krone oder Kappe stets erst fertig, bevor Sie diese mit dem CI RD Straumann PUREbase verkleben. Für die offene Abformung: Befestigen Sie nach der Abformung und Repositionierung des Manipulierimplantats die CI RD Hülse am repositionierbaren Manipulierimplantat. Die Hülse gewährleistet den korrekten Sitz des repositionierbaren Manipulierimplantats und steuert die Okklusionshöhe im Meistermodell. Fahren Sie anschliessend mit der Herstellung des Meistermodells mit Zahnfleischmaske fort. Verkleben Hinweis: Es ist nicht notwendig, das CI RD Straumann PUREbase abzustrahlen. a) Nehmen Sie die Zahnfleischmaske ab. b) Tauschen Sie das Manipulierimplantat gegen dieverklebehilfe aus (in der CI RD PUREbase Verpackung enthalten). c) Kürzen Sie die Spitze der Verklebehilfe, wenn sie aus der Unterseite des Meistermodells ragt. d) Fixieren Sie das CI RD Straumann PUREbase mit einer Schraube (handfest) an der Verklebehilfe. e) Vor dem Verkleben muss die Position der Krone gemäss vorliegender Patientenanatomie bestätigt werden. f) Verschliessen Sie den Schraubenkanal z. B. mit Wachs. g) Befolgen Sie Anweisungen zum Priming. h) Tragen Sie selbsthaftenden Dentalzement auf das Sekundärteil und die Innenfläche der Krone/Kappe auf. Es dürfen nur selbsthaftende Zementierungssysteme verwendet werden, die für die verwendeten Materialien geeignet sind. Beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisungen der Hersteller für das Prothetikmaterial und den Zement/Kleber. i) Kleben Sie die Kappe/Krone mit einer Rechts/ Links-Bewegung auf das CI RD Straumann PUREbase. j) Entfernen Sie sofort jegliche Zementüberschüsse (z. B. aus dem Schraubenkanal). Hinweis: Zementreste können zu einem Mikrospalt und einer undichten Passung führen. Das Sekundärteil nach dem Kleben nicht mehr brennen. k) Stellen Sie mit einer Rechts/Links-Bewegung sicher, dass sich zwischen der Versorgung und den Kanten der Verklebehilfe kein Zement befindet. l) Drücken Sie die Kappe/Krone mindestens zwei Minuten zentral nach unten, um eine Verkippung und den Push-back-Effekt des Zements zu verhindern. m) Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen des Zementherstellers zur Aushärtung. Drücken Sie während der Aushärtung weiter nach unten. n) Lösen Sie die Basisschraube. o) Entfernen Sie überschüssigen Zement mit einer scharfen, nicht schneidenden, nicht rotierenden Zahnsonde. p) Überprüfen Sie die Passgenauigkeit der Kappe/ Krone auf dem Manipulierimplantat. Die Kontrolle mit optischen Hilfsmitteln wie z. B. Mikroskop wird empfohlen. Überprüfen Sie die korrekte Passung der Versorgung am Modell. q) Reinigen Sie die Prothetikkomponenten, bevor Sie diese an den Zahnarzt senden. r) Legen Sie Ihrer Sendung an den Zahnarzt diese Gebrauchsanweisung bei. Für den Zahnarzt, der die prothetische Versorgung vom Meistermodell oder Manipulierimplantat nimmt: Verwendung und Handhabung von CI RD Straumann PUREbase. Überprüfen Sie die korrekte Passung der Versorgung am Meistermodell oder Manipulierimplantat. Verwenden Sie sie nur, wenn es zwischen der Versorgung und dem Manipulierimplantat keinen sichtbaren Mikrospalt gibt. Reinigen und desinfizieren Sie das Produkt wie in den Abschnitten 7 und 8 dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben. Eingliederung der prothetischen Versorgung a) Entfernen Sie die Einheilkappe oder das Provisorium. b) Reinigen und trocknen Sie die Innenverbindung des Implantats und das Sekundärteil gründlich. c) Setzen Sie die sterilisierte prothetische Versorgung in den Mund des Patienten. d) Achten Sie darauf, dass die Retentionselemente der Implantat-Sekundärteil-Verbindung korrekt ausgerichtet sind. Verwenden Sie die mit dem Sekundärteil gelieferte Schraube, um das Sekundärteil im Dentalimplantat zu sichern. Hinweis: Die Gewinde und der Schraubenkopf müssen sauber und frei von Rückständen sein. Verwenden Sie beim Einsetzen der endgültigen Versorgung stets eine neue, ungebrauchte Schraube. Straumann Sekundärteile werden mit dem Straumann SCS Schraubendreher, der Ratsche und dem Drehmomentaufsatz im Implantat befestigt. Halten Sie das entsprechende Eindrehmoment gemäss nachstehender Tabelle ein: Komponententyp Eindrehmoment Besondere Überlegungen Sekundärteile (definitive) Provisoriumssekundärteile Komponenten Handfest auf Manipulierimplantaten Hinweise: 35 Ncm Nicht zutreffend Ncm Nur nach vollständiger Osseointegration des Implantats mit 35 Ncm anziehen Nicht zutreffend Ein einmal mit dem empfohlenen Drehmoment im Implantat gesichertes Straumann Sekundärteil sollte nicht wieder entfernt werden. 12. Description du produit Parties secondaires Les parties secondaires se placent dans les implants dentaires pour assurer un soutien à des reconstructions prothétiques telles que des couronnes et bridges. Vis basales Les vis basales s utilisent pour fixer la partie secondaire sur l implant dentaire. Auxiliaire de liaison Les auxiliaires de liaison sont indiqués pour assurer un alignement correct entre la partie secondaire CI RD Straumann PUREbase et la coiffe ou la couronne. 2. Utilisation prévue Les composants prothétiques directement connectés à l implant dentaire endo-osseux sont destiné à être utilisé comme auxiliaires pour les restaurations prothétiques. 3. Indications La partie secondaire CI RD Straumann PUREbase est une base en titane qui se place sur des implants dentaires en céramique Straumann pour assurer un soutien à des reconstructions prothétiques personnalisées. La CI RD Straumann PUREbase est indiquée pour des restaurations de dent unique vissées ou scellées et pour des restaurations par bridge. 4. Contre-indications Examiner toutes les allergies ou hypersensibilités aux ingrédients chimiques potentielles, se référer à l étiquetage. 5. Mises en garde Il est impératif de protéger les produits contre les risques d aspiration ou d ingestion lors d utilisation intra-orale. L aspiration ou l ingestion de produits peut provoquer une infection ou des dommages corporels imprévisibles. La partie secondaire CI RD Straumann PUREbase et les auxiliaires de liaison sont des dispositifs à usage unique. Mettre en place des restaurations implanto-portées uniquement en occlusion lorsque l implant est totalement osstéo-intégré. Utiliser des techniques de scellement et d élimination du ciment appropriées. Après le scellement, éliminer soigneusement tout résidu de ciment. Un implant doit être restauré exclusivement avec la partie secondaire originale correspondante compatible avec cet implant. La modification de la hauteur de la partie secondaire CI RD Straumann PUREbase n est pas autorisée car il n existe pas de flux de travail conventionnel pour l implant PURE Ceramic (seul un flux de travail numérique est disponible). Des valeurs de couple supérieures à 35 Ncm sont susceptibles d entraîner une défaillance de la partie secondaire et/ou de l implant. Des valeurs de couple inférieures à celles recommandées risquent d aboutir au détachement de la partie secondaire, ce qui peut entraîner une défaillance de la partie secondaire et/ou de l implant. 6. Précautions Une manipulation stérile est indispensable. Ne jamais utiliser des composants potentiellement contaminés. Une contamination peut provoquer une infection. Un alignement correct entre la partie secondaire CI RD Straumann PUREbase et la couronne ou la coiffe est essentiel, l utilisateur doit employer l auxiliaire de liaison dans le cadre de la procédure de scellement appropriée. Un alignement incorrect peut entraîner une fracture du col de l implant ou un micro-espace entre la restauration et l implant. Utiliser les dispositifs immédiatement après leur stérilisation Ne pas stocker des dispositifs stérilisés. 7. Informations de sécurité concernant l IRM Des tests non cliniques ont démontré que la partie secondaire CI RD Straumann PUREbase est conditionnellement compatible avec la RM. On trouvera de plus amples informations dans le document /fr Sécurité dans l environnement de résonance magnétique. 8. Informations de compatibilité Les implants et les composants prothétiques Straumann sont disponibles en différentes configurations pour s adapter aux besoins cliniques. L étiquetage de chaque produit utilise des abréviations pour identifier si une partie secondaire ou une coiffe ou une couronne spécifique est compatible avec l implant utilisé pour la restauration. L implant et le composant prothétique contiennent tous deux un identifiant pour le type de connexion, comme résumé dans le tableau ci-dessous. Type de connexion de l implant RD (Regular Diameter) Prothèses compatibles Pièces étiquetées RD 9. Nettoyage et désinfection La CI RD Straumann PUREbase et ses composants sont livrées non stériles. Avant de placer la restauration dans la bouche du patient, le produit doit être nettoyé, désinfecté et stérilisé. Straumann recommande les procédures suivantes pour le nettoyage, la désinfection et la stérilisation des parties secondaires avant usage : Nettoyer la partie secondaire et la rincer sous l eau courante tout en brossant l extérieur et l intérieur au moyen de brosses appropriées. Le produit prétraité doit être nettoyé/désinfecté dans un appareil de lavage et désinfection automatique. Choisir le programme approprié conformément aux instructions du fabricant. 10. Stérilisation La restauration peut être stérilisée non emballée ou être placée dans une cassette pour accessoires et emballée en double dans un emballage pour stérilisation standard (papier ou pochettes de film d emballage). Stériliser à l autoclave selon les paramètres suivants : Dispositif Méthode Conditions PUREbase, TAN Vis, TAN Autoclave (chaleur humide) Déplacement : par gravité ou vide fractionné 134 C 5 minutes Remarque : Il incombe à l utilisateur d employer un indicateur biologique adapté au stérilisateur et aux paramètres utilisés. Remarque : L utilisateur doit consulter les recommandations du fabricant de la coiffe ou de la couronne et/ou du matériau de restauration concernant la stérilisation. Attention : Utiliser les dispositifs immédiatement après leur stérilisation. Ne pas stocker des dispositifs stérilisés. 11. Procédure Utilisation et manipulation de la CI RD Straumann PUREbase par le prothésiste dentaire Conception de la restauration Grâce à un flux de travail numérique, le kit d implantation CI RD Straumann PUREbase peut être utilisé avec n importe quelle plate-forme logicielle pour faciliter une conception précise de l inter- 7

8 face entre la partie secondaire CI RD Straumann PUREbase et la coiffe ou la couronne. Le kit d implantation CI RD Straumann PUREbase consiste en un fichier STL contenant le modèle de fraisage requis pour la géométrie intérieure de la coiffe ou de la couronne. La CI RD Straumann PUREbase doit être modifiée exclusivement via un flux de travail numérique. Remarque : Les directives suivantes relatives à l épaisseur des parois de la structure doivent être respectées : Pour les dispositifs en céramique, l épaisseur des parois de la structure doit être 0,4 mm Pour les dispositifs en polymère, l épaisseur des parois de la structure doit être 0,5 mm Traitement Toujours récupérer la couronne ou la coiffe définitive avant sa liaison à la CI RD Straumann PUREbase. Porte-empreinte perforé : Après la prise d empreinte, le repositionnement et la fixation de l analogue, monter la douille CI RD sur l analogue d implant repositionnable. La douille assure un ajustement adéquat de l analogue d implant repositionnable et contrôle la hauteur d occlusion sur le modèle en plâtre. Poursuivre ensuite par la réalisation du modèle en plâtre avec masque gingival. Liaison Remarque : Il n est pas nécessaire de sabler la CI RD Straumann PUREbase. a) Retirer le masque gingival. b) Remplacer l analogue d implant par l auxiliaire de liaison (inclus dans le conditionnement de la CI RD PUREbase). c) Raccourcir l extrémité de l auxiliaire de liaison si elle dépasse du fond du modèle en plâtre. d) Fixer la CI RD Straumann PUREbase à l auxiliaire de liaison à l aide d une vis (serrer manuellement). e) Avant la liaison, contrôler la position de la couronne en fonction de la morphologie du patient. f) Obturer le canal de la vis, par exemple avec de la cire. g) Suivre les instructions d amorçage. h) Appliquer et répartir du ciment dentaire auto-adhésif sur la partie secondaire et la surface interne de la couronne ou de la coiffe. Employer exclusivement des systèmes de scellement auto-adhésifs adaptés au matériau utilisé. Se conformer aux instructions du fabricant pour l utilisation du matériau dentaire et du matériau de scellement/de liaison. i) Fixer la coiffe ou la couronne sur la CI RD Straumann PUREbase par un mouvement de va-etvient latéral. j) Éliminer immédiatement tout excédent de ciment (par exemple du canal de la vis). Remarque : Un résidu de ciment peut entraîner un micro-espace et un ajustement trop lâche. Ne pas cuire la partie secondaire après la liaison. k) Contrôler par un mouvement de va-et-vient latéral l absence de ciment entre la restauration et l auxiliaire de liaison. l) Presser la couronne ou la coiffe vers le bas pendant au moins deux minutes pour l empêcher d être repoussée par le ciment. m) Se conformer aux instructions du fabricant de ciment concernant la prise. Maintenir la pression durant la prise. n) Desserrer la vis basale. o) Éliminer l excédent de ciment à l aide d une sonde dentaire pointue non coupante et non rotative. p) Utiliser une loupe pour vérifier le bon ajustement de la coiffe ou de la couronne sur l analogue d implant. Vérifier le bon ajustement de la restauration sur le modèle. q) Nettoyer la restauration avant son envoi au dentiste. r) Joindre ce mode d emploi lors de l envoi de la restauration au dentiste. Utilisation et manipulation de la CI RD Straumann PUREbase par le dentiste qui sera amené à retirer la restauration du modèle en plâtre ou l analogue Vérifier le bon ajustement de la restauration sur le modèle en plâtre ou l analogue. Utiliser uniquement s il n y a pas de micro-espace visible entre la restauration et l analogue d implant. Nettoyer, désinfecter et stériliser le dispositif comme décrit dans les sections 7 et 8 de ce mode d emploi. Pose de la restauration a) Retirer la coiffe de cicatrisation ou la restauration temporaire. b) Nettoyer et sécher soigneusement l intérieur de l implant et la partie secondaire. c) Placer la restauration stérilisée dans la bouche du patient. d) S assurer que les éléments de rétention de la connexion implant-partie secondaire sont correctement alignés. Utiliser la vis fournie avec la partie secondaire pour visser la partie secondaire dans l implant dentaire. Remarque : Toujours contrôler que les surfaces des filetages et la tête de la vis sont propres et que l on utilise une vis neuve pour la mise en place de la couronne finale. Les parties secondaires Straumann se fixent à l implant avec le tournevis SCS, la clé à cliquet et le dispositif dynamométrique Straumann. Descrizione del prodotto Componenti secondarie Le componenti secondarie sono inserite negli impianti dentali come supporto per le ricostruzioni protesiche quali corone e ponti. Viti basali Le viti basali sono utilizzate per fissare la componente secondaria all impianto dentale. Ausili di fissaggio Gli ausili di fissaggio sono indicati per il corretto allineamento fra la componente secondaria CI RD Straumann PUREbase e la cappetta/corona. 2. Uso previsto Le componenti protesiche direttamente connesse all impianto dentale endosseo sono previste come ausilio per la protesizzazione. 3. Indicazioni La componente secondaria CI RD Straumann PUREbase è una base in titanio inserita sugli impianti dentali Straumann in ceramica per fornire supporto a restauri protesici personalizzati. Le componenti secondarie CI RD Straumann PUREbase sono indicate per restauri di denti singoli avvitati o denti singoli cementati e ponti. 4. Controindicazioni Verificare eventuali allergie o ipersensibilità ai componenti chimici. Consultare l etichetta. 5. Avvertenze È necessario garantire che i prodotti non possano essere aspirati/ingeriti prodotti se utilizzati intraoralmente. L aspirazione/ingestione dei prodotti può causare infezioni o lesioni fisiche non previste. Le componenti secondarie CI RD Straumann PUREbase e gli ausili di fissaggio sono dispositivi monouso. Applicare i restauri su impianto solo in occlusione quando l impianto è completamente osseointegrato. Utilizzare cemento idoneo e tecniche di rimozione del cemento appropriate. Dopo la cementazione, rimuovere accuratamente ogni residuo di cemento. Gli impianti devono essere restaurati con la corrispondente componente secondaria originale compatibile con l impianto specifico. Una modifica dell altezza della componente secondaria CI RD Straumann PUREbase non è consentita, non essendo disponibile un flusso di lavoro convenzionale per il sistema implantare PURE CERAMIC (è disponibile solo un flusso di lavoro digitale). Valori di torque superiori a 35 Ncm possono causare l insuccesso della componente secondaria e/o dell impianto. Valori di torque inferiori a quelli consigliati possono causare allentamento della componente secondaria, con possibile insuccesso della componente secondaria e/o dell impianto. 6. Precauzioni La manipolazione sterile è essenziale. Non utilizzare componenti potenzialmente contaminate. La contaminazione può provocare infezioni. Un allineamento corretto fra componente secondaria CI RD Straumann PUREbase e la corona/cappetta è fondamentale, l utente deve utilizzare l ausilio di fissaggio con la corretta procedura di cementazione. Un allineamento errato potrebbe provocare lo scheggiamento del collare dell impianto o una microfessura fra il restauro e l impianto. Usare i dispositivi immediatamente dopo la sterilizzazione Non immaggazzinare dispositivi sterilizzati. 7. Informazioni sulla sicurezza dell imaging a risonanza magnetica (MRI) Test non clinici hanno dimostrato che la componente secondaria CI RD Straumann PUREbase è a compatibilità RM condizionata. Informazioni sulla compatibilità Gli impianti Straumann e le componenti protesiche sono disponibili in diverse configurazioni per soddisfare ogni esigenza clinica. Sulle etichette dei prodotti sono indicate abbreviazioni per facilitare l identificazione della corretta componente secondaria o cappetta/corona compatibile con l impianto che si sta restaurando. Sia l impianto che la componente protesica includono un identificatore per il tipo di connessione, come riepilogato nella tabella seguente. Prima di posizionare il restauro nella cavità orale del paziente, il prodotto deve essere pulito, disinfettato e sterilizzato. Straumann consiglia la seguente procedura di pulizia, disinfezione e sterilizzazione delle componenti secondarie prima dell uso: Pulire la componente secondaria lavandola sotto acqua corrente, spazzolando l esterno e l interno con idonei spazzolini. Il prodotto pre-trattato deve essere pulito/disinfettato in un apparecchio di lavaggio e disinfezione automatico. Selezionare il programma corretto in base alle istruzioni del produttore. 10. Sterilizzazione Il restauro può essere sterilizzato senza essere imbustato oppure può essere colocato in una cassetta per accessori, imbustato in doppia busta di sterilizzazione standard (buste in carta/pellicola). Sterilizzare a vapore attenendosi ai seguenti parametri: Materiale Metodo Condizioni PUREbase, TAN Vite, TAN Autoclave (calore umido) Spostamento: per gravità o vuoto frazionato 134 C 5 minuti Importante: l utente deve garantire l uso del corretto indicatore biologico per lo sterilizzatore e i parametri utilizzati. Importante: l utente deve consultare le raccomandazioni relative alla sterilizzazione fornite dal produttore del materiale di restauro/delle cappette/corone. Attenzione: usare i dispositivi immediatamente dopo la sterilizzazione. Non immagazzinare dispositivi sterilizzati. 11. Procedura Uso e gestione di CI RD Straumann PUREbase da parte dell odontotecnico Progettazione del restauro Utilizzando un flusso di lavoro digitale, il kit implantare CI RD Straumann PUREbase può essere usato con qualsiasi piattaforma software per facilitare la progettazione precisa dell interfaccia tra la componente secondaria CI RD Straumann PUREbase e la cappetta/corona. Il kit implantare CI RD Straumann PUREbase è costituito da un file STL contenente la mascherina di fresatura necessaria per la geometria interna della 10

11 cappetta/corona. CI RD Straumann PUREbase deve essere lavorata esclusivamente con flusso di lavoro digitale. Importante: attenersi alle seguenti linee guida per lo spessore della parete della struttura protesica: per materiali ceramici spessore della parete della struttura protesica 0,4 mm per materiali polimerici spessore della parete della struttura protesica 0,5 mm Lavorazione Recuperare sempre la corona o cappetta finale prima del fissaggio al CI RD Straumann PUREbase. Per prendere un impronta a cucchiaio aperto: Dopo la presa dell impronta e il riposizionamento e fissaggio dell analogo montare la guaina CI RD sull analogo d impianto riposizionabile. La guaina garantisce un adattamento preciso dell analogo d impianto riposizionabile e controlla l altezza occlusale del modello master. Successivamente realizzare il modello master con la maschera gengivale. Fissaggio Importante: non è necessario sabbiare la CI RD Straumann PUREbase. a) Rimuovere la maschera gengivale. b) Sostituire l analogo d impianto con l ausilio di fissaggio (incluso nella confezione di CI RD PUREbase). c) Accorciare la punta dell ausilio di fissaggio se fuoriesce dalla base del modello master. d) Fissare CI RD Straumann PUREbase all ausilio di fissaggio con una vite (serrare a mano). e) Prima del fissaggio verificare la posizione della corona in base all anatomica effettiva del paziente. f) Sigillare il canale della vite ad es. con cera. g) Seguire le istruzioni per il priming. h) Applicare e distribuire il cemento dentale autoadesivo sulla componente secondaria e sulla superficie interna della corona/cappetta. Utilizzare esclusivamente sistemi di cementazione autoadesivi adatti al materiale utilizzato. Seguire le istruzioni per l uso rilevanti del produttore sia per il materiale dentale che per il materiale di cementazione/fissaggio. i) Fissare la cappetta/corona alla CI RD Straumann PUREbase eseguendo un movimento da destra a sinistra. j) Eliminare immediatamente il cemento in eccesso (ad es. dal canale della vite). Importante: ev. cemento residuo potrebbe causare una microfessura e compromettere l aderenza. Non cuocere la componente secondaria dopo il fissaggio. k) Eseguendo un movimento da destra a sinistra verificare che non vi sia cemento residuo fra il restauro e l ausilio di fissaggio. l) Tenere premuta la corona/cappetta verso il basso per almeno due minuti per contrastare l effetto di controspinta del cemento. m) Attenersi alle istruzioni per l indurimento fornite dal produttore del cemento. Continuare a tenere premuto durante l indurimento. n) Svitare la vite basale. o) Eliminare il cemento in eccesso utilizzando uno strumento di esplorazione dentale affilato, ma non tagliente o rotante. p) Usare una lente di ingrandimento per verificare la corretta aderenza della corona/cappetta all analogo d impianto. Verificare l adattamento corretto del restauro al modello. q) Pulire il restauro prima di inviarlo al dentista. r) Quando si invia il restauro al dentista, allegare le presenti istruzioni per l uso. Uso e gestione di CI RD Straumann PUREbase per la rimozione del restauro dal modello master o dall analogo da parte del dentista Verificare l aderenza del restauro al modello master o sull analogo. Usare solo se non è visibile alcuna microfessura fra il restauro e l analogo d impianto. Pulire, disinfettare e sterilizzare il dispositivo come spiegato nelle sezioni 7 e 8 delle presenti istruzioni per l uso. Inserimento del restauro a) Rimuovere la cappetta di guarigione o il provvisorio. b) Pulire e asciugare accuratamente l interno dell impianto e della componente secondaria. c) Inserire la protesi sterilizzata nella bocca del paziente. d) Verificare che gli elementi di ritenzione della connessione impianto-componente secondaria siano correttamente allineati. Utilizzare la vite fornita con la componente secondaria per avvitare quest ultima all impianto dentale. Importante: verificare sempre che le superfici dei filetti e le teste delle viti siano pulite e che per il restauro venga utilizzata una nuova vite. Fissare le componenti secondarie Straumann all impianto usando il cacciavite SCS, il cricchetto e la componente dinamometrica aggiuntiva Straumann. Impostare il rispettivo torque in base alla seguente tabella: Tipo di dispositivo Componenti secondarie (permanenti) Componenti secondarie provvisorie Componenti su analogo d impianto Importante Torque di serraggio 35 Ncm n. d.
