O estudante deverá: a. Compreender e conhecer as dimensões histórico-antropológicas da autonomização da cultura, da arte e da ciência. b. Identificar os processos e dinâmicas institucionais da cultura, da arte e da ciência no quadro das sociedades modernas e pós-modernas e a sua relevância do ponto de vista do animador sociocultural. c. Recolher, seleccionar e interpretar a informação pertinente nos domínios estudados, mobilizando-a e articulando-a em contexto de dinâmica de pequeno grupo. d. Discutir temas e tópicos relevantes, implicando-se ativamente nos debates desenvolvidos no contexto da formação. e. Construir textos escritos de acordo com convenções e regras éticas vigentes no meio académico. f. Comunicar oralmente as suas ideias e argumentos de modo claro e sintético. LEARNING OUTCOMES (knowledge, aptitudes and skills to be developed by the students) It is intended to sensitize students to the importance of culture, art and science in the formation of a sociocultural animator. The student should: A. Understand and know the historical-anthropological dimensions of the autonomization of culture, art and science. B. To identify the processes and institutional dynamics of culture, art and science within the framework of Página 1 de 5

2 modern and postmodern societies and their relevance from the point of view of the sociocultural animator. C. To collect, select and interpret relevant information in the domains studied, mobilizing it and articulating it in the context of small group dynamics. D. Discuss relevant themes and topics, actively engaging in discussions in the training context. C. Construct written texts according to conventions and ethical rules in force in the academic world. F. Communicate your ideas and arguments orally in a clear and concise manner. CONTEÚDOS PROGRAMÁTICOS Esta UC abordará a cultura, a arte e a ciência, a sua evolução e as suas inter-relações. A reflexão em torno da cultura dará abertura à discussão sobre a arte e sobre a ciência enquanto domínios institucionais próprios. Cultura: - Os conceitos de: Cultura, Participação, Democratização e Democracia Cultural - Cultura e identidade: o ser humano como produto e produtor de cultura - Cultura e globalização: entre a uniformização e a diversificação - A Cultura nos projetos de intervenção em Animação Sociocultural Arte: - A Arte enquanto sistema cultural (arte, política, poder e mercado) - Arte contemporânea - Modernismo/Pós modernismo - Os lugares de museologia/pedagogia cultural crítica: Eventos (Bienais), museus, centros de arte contemporânea, galerias de referência -A Arte nos projetos de intervenção em Animação Sociocultural Ciência: -A Ciência como uma produção humana -Características do conhecimento científico -Revoluções científicas e industriais -A Ciência nos projetos de intervenção em Animação Sociocultural O Animador Sociocultural como promotor de projetos de intervenção geradores de novas formas de ver o mundo através da Arte e da Ciência. SYLLABUS This CU will approach culture, art and science, its evolution and its interrelations. Reflection around culture will open the discussion of art and science as its own institutional domains. Culture: - The concepts of: Culture, Participation, Democratization and Cultural Democracy - Culture and identity: the human being as product and producer of culture - Culture and globalization: between standardization and diversification - Culture in the projects of intervention in Sociocultural Animation Art: - Art as a cultural system (art, politics, power and market) - Contemporary art - Modernism / Postmodernism - Places of museology / critical cultural pedagogy: Events (Biennials), museums, contemporary art centers, reference galleries -A Art in projects of intervention in Sociocultural Animation Science: - Science as a human production -Characteristics of scientific knowledge -Revolutions scientific and industrial -The Science in the projects of intervention in Sociocultural Animation The Sociocultural Animator as promoter of intervention projects generating new ways of "seeing the world" through Art and Science. 3 DEMONSTRAÇÃO DA COERÊNCIA DOS CONTEÚDOS PROGRAMÁTICOS COM OS OBJETIVOS DA UC Nesta unidade curricular são apresentados diferentes olhares sobre os mesmos fenómenos socioculturais, sendo os conteúdos abordados pelos domínios científicos numa perspectiva integradora. Através dos conteúdos abordados pretende-se que os alunos sejam capazes de compreender e conhecer as dimensões histórico-antropológicas da autonomização da cultura, da arte e da ciência e de identificar os processos e dinâmicas institucionais destes diferentes domínios (cultura, arte e ciência) no quadro das sociedades modernas e pós-modernas e compreender a sua relevância do ponto de vista do animador sociocultural. Os objetivos c, d, e e f, sendo transversais, são atingidos ao longo do desenvolvimento da unidade curricular. DEMONSTRATION OF THE SYLLABUS COHERENCE WITH THE CURRICULAR UNIT'S OBJECTIVES In this curricular unit are presented different views on the same sociocultural phenomena, being the contents approached by the scientific domains in an integrative perspective.through the contents, students will be able to understand and understand the historical and anthropological dimensions of the autonomization of culture, art and science and to identify the institutional processes and dynamics of these different domains (culture, art and science) in the framework of modern and postmodern societies and understand their relevance from the point of view of the sociocultural animator. Objectives c, d, e and f, being transversal, are reached throughout the development of the curricular unit. METODOLOGIAS DE ENSINO (AVALIAÇÃO INCLUÍDA) A metodologia de ensino desenvolvida nesta unidade curricular envolve diferentes tipos de trabalho: a realização de debates a partir da análise de diversos objetos ou contextos, tais como obras de arte, filmes e textos; a realização de visitas de estudo; aulas teóricas, que visam a exposição dos conteúdos do programa pelos docentes; a animação de aulas pelos próprios estudantes. Avaliação contínua: Assiduidade, pontualidade, participação e empenho nas atividades (5%) Realização de um projeto de intervenção a partir de um artista/obra de arte/evento: - Componente escrita (60%) - Construção de um poster e apresentação oral (35%) Avaliação por exame Realização de uma prova teórica sobre os conteúdos da UC TEACHING METHODOLOGIES (INCLUDING EVALUATION) The teaching methodology developed in this curricular unit involves different types of work: the realization of debates from the analysis of various objects or contexts, such as works of art, films and texts; conducting study visits; theoretical classes, which aim to expose the contents of the program by the teachers; the animation of classes by the students themselves. Continuous evaluation: Assiduity, punctuality, participation and commitment to activities (5%) Realization of an intervention project from an artist / work of art / event: - Written component (60%) - Construction of a poster and oral presentation (35%) Final exam Conducting a theoretical test on the contents of the UC Página 3 de 5

4 DEMONSTRAÇÃO DA COERÊNCIA DAS METODOLOGIAS DE ENSINO COM OS OBJETIVOS DE APRENDIZAGEM DA UC Esta unidade curricular visa facultar aos estudantes os referenciais teóricos e os instrumentos metodológicos que lhes permitam conhecer e compreender as dimensões histórico-antropológicas da autonomização da cultura, da arte e da ciência e mobilizá-las do ponto de vista do animador sociocultural. Neste sentido, são desenvolvidas diferentes metodologias. É realizada a exposição sistemática e organizada da informação pelos docentes de modo a facultar aos estudantes referenciais teóricos e instrumentos metodológicos das áreas em estudo. No sentido de desenvolver competências de recolha, seleção e interpretação de informação pertinente são propostos trabalhos em pequeno grupo de análise de uma obra de arte e da sua caraterização de modo a poder ser o ponto de partida para um projeto de animação sociocultural. Com os debates em grande grupo e a apresentação oral dos trabalhos pelos estudantes pretende-se promover as suas competências de reflexão, argumentação, capacidades indispensáveis ao futuro Animador Sociocultural. Com as visitas de estudo pretende-se o contacto direto com contextos culturais que poderão ser utilizados pelos animadores socioculturais na sua prática. Em todos os métodos de ensino desenvolvidos na unidade curricular está presente a construção de textos de acordo com convenções e regras éticas vigentes no meio académico com intuito de desenvolver, nos estudantes, capacidades de articulação de ideias e de fundamentação das mesmas. DEMONSTRATION OF THE COHERENCE BETWEEN THE TEACHING METHODOLOGIES AND THE LEARNING OUTCOMES: This curricular unit aims to provide students with the theoretical references and methodological tools that allow them to know and understand the historical and anthropological dimensions of the autonomization of culture, art and science and to mobilize them from the point of view of the sociocultural animator. In this sense, different methodologies are developed. Systematic and organized exposition of information by teachers is carried out in order to provide students with theoretical references and methodological tools of the areas under study. In order to develop competences for the collection, selection and interpretation of pertinent information, work is proposed in a small group of analysis of a work of art and its characterization in order to be the starting point for a sociocultural animation project. With the debates in a large group and the oral presentation of the works by the students, it is intended to promote their skills of reflection, argumentation, and indispensable abilities to the future Sociocultural Animator. With the study visits, it is intended the direct contact with cultural contexts that can be used by the sociocultural animators in their practice. In all the teaching methods developed in the curricular unit there is present the construction of texts according to conventions and ethical rules in force in the academic environment in order to develop, in the students, the ability to articulate ideas and to justify them.
