2 Institutional Cooperation The Ministries of Education and the Environment converge efforts since 1996 for the development and monitoring of Environmental Education Projects. Promote and encourage EA. Include environmental knowledge and concepts. Support the implementation of school projects. Stimulate the creation of school networks. Stimulate the design of support materials. To promote the training of teachers. Cooperation Protocol between the Ministries of Education and the Environment. a network of teachers with technical-pedagogical skills for the coordination and dynamization of Environmental NGO projects

3 Commitment ENEA2020 Establish a collaborative, strategic and cohesive commitment in the construction of environmental literacy in Portugal that, through an inclusive and visionary citizenship, leads to a change of civilizational paradigm, translated into sustainable models of conduct in all dimensions of human activity.
