Analysis, development and monitoring of business processes in Corporate environment SAFIRA is an IT consulting boutique known for transforming the way organizations do business, or fulfil their missions, with Smarter Processes. http://www.safira.pt/ Abstract Process Automation through BPM has become an important trend in enterprises nowadays, allowing companies to measure and achieve better control of expenditure and effort in all kinds of processes. To understand and automate processes within a company provides the ability to develop knowledge around these. From identifying common activities to all processes, building standards and process models and measure almost everything within a process, a company can try to fine tune it to reduce inefficiencies. Scope/Problem This project consists in conducting a survey and analysis of the various existing business processes in SAFIRA, to subsequently implement technological tools that will allow processes automation and monitoring in the organization. Goals and expected results - At the end of the project is expected to be possible to analyse and measure productivity/ efficiency that the organization obtained, with the introduction of the new technologies developed. - It is also intended to be created a case study to be subsequently published and submitted to conferences specializing in BPM (Business Process Management). - Know-how in the technologies that will be used to develop the solution: IBM Blueworks Live and IBM Business Process Manager, which will be provided by SAFIRA. Innovation/Value Added - Identify and document process patterns and/or templates allowing to reuse this knowledge. - Improve upon the existing methodologies through the experience of adding iterations to them and incorporate this common knowledge even.
Work Plan The work plan will be detailed later with the Student. Análise, desenvolvimento e monitorização de processos de negócio em ambiente empresarial SAFIRA is an IT consulting boutique known for transforming the way organizations do business, or fulfil their missions, with Smarter Processes. http://www.safira.pt/ Resumo Automação de Processos através de BPM tornou-se uma tendência importante nas empresas hoje em dia, permitindo às empresas medir e alcançar um melhor controlo da despesa e esforço em todo o tipo de processos. Compreender e automatizar os processos dentro de uma empresa fornece a capacidade de desenvolver o conhecimento em torno destes. Desde identificar as atividades comuns a todos os processos, construir padrões e modelos de processo e medir quase tudo dentro de um processo de uma empresa pode tentar afiná-lo para reduzir as ineficiências. Âmbito / Enquadramento Este projeto consiste em realizar um levantamento e análise a vários processos de negócio existentes na Safira, para posteriormente implementar ferramentas tecnológicas que permitam a automatização e monitorização desses mesmos processos na organização. Objetivos e resultados esperados - No final do projeto espera-se que seja possível analisar e medir os ganhos de produtividade e eficiência que a organização obteve, com a introdução das novas tecnologias desenvolvidas. - Pretende-se também que seja criado um caso de estudo para ser posteriormente publicado e submetido a conferências especializadas em BPM (Business Process Management). - O domínio das tecnologias que serão utilizadas para desenvolver a solução: IBM Blueworks Live e IBM Business Process Manager, que serão disponibilizados pela SAFIRA.
