This is when technology proves to be an effective helper to modern man. At home, the microwave oven, the dishwasher, the washing machine, the vacuum cleaner and other machines make people s lives more comfortable and easier. People can work and still do their household chores. At work, people do their jobs using computers to exchange, store and get information from all over the world. This way they save time, money, space and a lot of paper - Mother Nature is certainly grateful for that. Thanks to technology, lots of people can spend more time at home with their families without having to leave their jobs. Using a modem, a fax, and the internet they can communicate with their companies and do their work without having to commute form home to office. For sure, technology improves people s quality of life and can preserve nature when adequately used. I.
