Grade 6 Experience Year 1 of the Middle Years Program (MYP) Middle School team approach to learning that promotes a positive learning environment Focus on social and emotional growth as well as academics Some differences: All students are required to have their own laptop computer Coffee morning in August to focus on technology issues Students move from class to class and store belongings in an assigned locker The schedule of classes is different every day (A F)

Programa Brasileiro Na G6, ingressamos de forma mais independente no estudo da literatura em língua portuguesa através do tema: o Herói e o Sujeito. De quem falamos na literatura? Quem escreve e para quem se escreve literatura? É nessa etapa que colocamos em xeque o papel do narrador e dos personagens nos textos literários e iniciamos também as discussões sobre o papel do leitor nesse ciclo de escrita e endereçamento do discurso. Em BSS, falamos sobre a chegada dos europeus ao Brasil, o povoamento das Américas, o período colonial e a organização da sociedade da época.
