8 Conditions South American Airpass 2015 arriving with LAN, TAM & Iberia 1. Applicability Within South America on flight routes of LAN Airlines (LA), LAN Ecuador (XL), LAN Peru (LP), LAN Argentina (4M) LAN Colombia (4C), TAM (JJ) and TAM Mercosur (PZ). 2. REQUIREMENTS The South American Airpass applies for passengers, whose place of residence is outside of South America, in combination with a long-haul flight from Europe to South America on flights with LA-flight number, JJ-flight number* or IB-flight number issued on LA (045), TAM (957) or Iberia (0) ticket. Passengers, whose long-haul ticket has been purchased by means of kilometer or points of frequent flyer programs such as LANPASS or TAM Fidelidade, are allowed to use segments of the Airpass. Kilometer or points of the frequent flyer program LANPASS or TAM Fidelidade will be accepted for the South American Airpass. Passengers with an ID/AD ticket are excluded from the South American Airpass. * The Airpass is not valid in combination with LA/JJ codeshare flights for passengers who live in Australia or North America. 3. FARES IN USD Fares are in USD and do not include fuel surcharges (Q or YQ). Minimum quantity of coupons: 1 Coupon. Maximum quantity of coupons: 16 Coupons. Surfaces permitted. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The prices do not include any taxes or fees. Taxes and fees apply at the time of issuing the ticket for the current market. Those have to be added on the particular coupon. Regional=international routes from and to Brazil, Columbia and Ecuador. The Airpass entitles to kilometer credits for LANPASS (%), other frequent flyer programs of oneworld airlines or associated airlines (TAM, ALASKA, AEROMEXICO). The South American Airpass cannot be purchased or redeemed via LANPASS kilometers or via the programs mentioned before. 4. Discounts Children (CHD): 25% on fares with claim for a seat* Infants (INF): % on fares for infants under the age of 2 years without claim for a seat* Senior: no reduction. Agency discounts (AD) are not granted. * except from booking class P, I and Z (Premium Economy/ Premium Business). 5. PERIOD OF VALIDITY For journeys from the 1 st of October 2014 until the 31 st of December VALIDITY Maximum stay: 12 months. Validity of the ticket: 12 months from the date of issue. 7. OFFER AND SALE The South American Airpass can be purchased only outside South America. 8. RESERVATION All flights have to be confirmed by the date of issue. The reservation must be made in combination with an international long-haul flight (LA,JJ,IB). DOCUMENT FOR ISSUE The Airpass has to be issued as LA(045), XL(462), LP(544), 4M (469), 4C (045) or as a JJ (957) document, depending on the regulation of the country, in which the issue occurs. The issue can also occur on a different ticket stock, in case a bilateral agreement remains between every carrier that is involved in the routing. PAYMENT AND ISSUE OF TICKET: The South American Airpass has to be issued in a separate ticket as IT in combination with a long-haul ticket of the airlines LA/JJ/IB. The ticket must show the following remarks in the endorsements and restrictions box: Endo Box: CONX <Number international TKT/NONEND/ NONREF/CHG FEE APPLIES Tickets must be issued 14 days before departure. If a reservation is made within 14 days before departure, the ticket must be issued within 24 hours after the reservation was made. TOUR CODE *SAA (arriving with LAN or TAM) *SIB (arriving with Iberia) The tour code is absolutely necessary for the issue. 12. REFUND Prior to departure: refund is permitted with a charge of USD. After departure: refund of coupons that have not been used for flying is possible with a charge of USD. At no show the corresponding coupons cannot be refunded. 13. REBOOKING/CHANGES Rebooking/Changes is permitted before departure with a fee of USD every time the ticket is changed. 14. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE Baggage regulations of long-haul flights are valid (only in combination with LA, JJ). If the long-haul flight is issued on IB flights, baggage allowance is 23k for LA/JJ/PZ Economy Class, 33k for JJ/PZ Business Class (Z) and 3PC for LAN Premium Economy (P) or Premium Business flights (I).
