It includes 2 semesters of dissertation. 4. Access requirement(s) Graduates in Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Management or Economy. Exceptionally, if these requirements are not met, the student may be accepted by the Scientific Council on the basis of his/her curriculum vitae.. Mode of Study

3 Full-time. Two semesters of a curricular component and two semesters of dissertation. 6. Programme Requirements The master offers four options, which correspond to four different domains of Industrial Engineering: Industrial Management; Quality, Safety and Maintenance; Logistics and Distribution; Project and Innovation Management and Evaluation. It includes a curricular part during two semesters and the preparation and execution of a dissertation in the third and fourth semesters. It offers a set of curricular units from the scientific areas of the Department of Production and Systems and there is the collaboration of the Department of Information Systems. The Master degree in Industrial Engineering, in one of the four options offered, corresponds to the completion of 120 ECTS. The students must complete 60 ECTS to obtain the Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering. 7. INFORMAÇÕES SOBRE O CONTEÚDO E OS RESULTADOS OBTIDOS.1 Regime de estudo: A tempo inteiro..2 Requisitos do programa de estudos: O Mestrado em Engenharia Industrial visa a formação de técnicos especializados num dos seguintes domínios da Engenharia Industrial: Gestão Industrial, Avaliação e Gestão de Projectos e da Inovação, Logística e Distribuição e Qualidade, Segurança e Manutenção e compreende uma parte escolar, ocupando os dois primeiros semestres e uma parte de preparação à dissertação e dissertação que decorre no terceiro e quarto semestres. O Mestrado oferece um conjunto de unidades curriculares das áreas científico-pedagógica do departamento de Produção e Sistemas e nele colabora o Departamento de Sistemas de Informação (Escola de Engenharia). A obtenção do Grau de Mestre em Engenharia Industrial, numa dos quatro ramos oferecidos, implica a obtenção de 120 ECTS.
