2 5. INFORMAÇÕES SOBRE O CONTEÚDO E OS RESULTADOS OBTIDOS 5.1 Regime de estudo: A tempo inteiro. Dois semestres lectivos e dois semestres de dissertação. 5.2 Requisitos do programa de estudos: O Mestrado em Engenharia Humana visa a formação de técnicos especializados nos domínios da ergonomia, segurança e higiene ocupacionais. Destacam-se, como principais resultados de aprendizagem e competências adquiridas, o conhecimento e interpretação da legislação vigente; a identificação, valoração e redução dos principais factores de risco; a realização e coordenação de planos de segurança e saúde; a análise ergonómica de postos de trabalho; entre outras." A admissão à dissertação é condicionada à aprovação na parte escolar. 4 DIPLOMA SUPLEMENT - UNIVERSIDADE OF MINHO MASTER IN HUMAN ENGINEERING (2 nd CYCLE) 1 Main Field of Studies for the qualification Human Engineering Ergonomics and Occupational Safety and Hygiene. 2 Language of instruction Portuguese. 3 Official Length of Programme Two years equivalent to 2 semesters of full-time study per year adding up to a total of 120 ECTS credits.. 4 Access requirement(s) Graduates in Engineering, Ergonomics, Psychology, Medicine, Biology, Physics, Chemistry or related areas. Exceptionally, if any of these requirements are not met, the student may be accepted by the Scientific Council on the basis of his/her curriculum vitae. 5 Mode of Study Full-time. Two semesters of a curricular component and two semesters of dissertation.

5 6 Programme Requirements The objective of the Master programme is to provide specialized technicians formation in the domains of the ergonomics, safety and hygiene within occupational settings. Expected outcomes of the course as far as competences of graduates are concerned, include: knowledge and applicability of legal requirements in place; identification, assessment and reduction of main risk factors; safety and health interventions; understanding and applicability of an ergonomics workplace analysis. The admission to dissertation requires success on the curricular component.
