13. Installation I. Slide open the battery compartment door. II. Insert 2 AA alkaline batteries (not included), observing the following polarity: III. Replace the battery compartment door. IV. Connect your switch. V. Clip the fan to a wheelchair tray etc as required press on the upper part of the clip to release the part nearer the base. The fan will stand on the base but use of the clip is recommended as this is a sturdier means of keeping the fan steady. VI. Bend the tubing of the fan as required. VII. Activate your switch. 14. Care and Maintenance Replace batteries as soon as operation becomes erratic. Wipe clean using a soft cloth that has been slightly dampened with water and a very mild cleaning solution. Remove the batteries if this product will not be used for long periods. Do not mix old/new, alkaline/carbon zinc/rechargeable batteries. Dispose of used batteries appropriately. Do not immerse in water.
15. Troubleshooting Make sure your Fan is attached to a switch. Replace the batteries in the Fan base. Try using a different switch in case your switch is faulty. In the unlikely event of product failure, do not attempt to open up the battery this fan has no user serviceable parts. 13. Instalação 1. Abra o compartimento das pilhas. 2. Introduza 2 pilhas AA (não incluídas), observando a polaridade: 3. Feche o compartimento das pilhas. 4. Ligue o seu switch. 5. Prenda a ventoinha no tabuleiro da cadeira de rodas, etc. pressione na parte de cima do clipe para soltar a parte que está mais perto da base. A ventoinha fica de pé na base mas é recomendada a utilização do clipe pois esta é uma forma mais segura de manter a ventoinha estável. 6. Dobre o tubo da ventoinha conforme necessário. 7. Ative o seu switch. 14. Cuidado e Manutenção Substitua as pilhas assim que o funcionamento se tornar errático. Limpe com um pano limpo ligeiramente humedecido com água e detergente macio. Remova as pilhas se não for utilizar as pilhas por longos períodos de tempo. Não misture pilhas velhas e novas, alcalinas e não alcalinas e recarregáveis. Deposite as pilhas num local apropriado. Não submerja em água.
15. Resolução de Problemas Verifique se a sua ventoinha está devidamente ligada a um switch. Substitua as pilhas na base da ventoinha. Tente utilizar um switch diferente caso o seu switch não esteja a trabalhar bem. Na eventualidade deste produto falhar, não tente abrir não existem peças que possam ser reparadas.
