EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES Analyse the specificities of the needs of family health care throughout the vital cycle. Analyse the functional content of nursing care. Reflect on family nursing cares in the home context. Analyse the role of the different people involved in the care. Reflect on the role of the nurse as care manager. CONTRIBUTION TO THE ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT OF COMPETENCES FOR THE GENERALIST NURSE Fundamental: Complementar: Parcial: 25 26, 29 37, 38, 44, 55, 74,75, 96 Observations: 1. The referential competences are based on the Portuguese Nurses Association (Ordem dos Enfermeiros) framework of competences for generalist nurses, numbered in the order of the attached list; 2. The contribution is classified as: a. Fundamental, if the curricular unit is determinant; b. Complementary, if it is complemented by a fundamental curricular unit; c. Partial, if there are more curricular units with the same importance TEACHING/LEARNING STRATEGIES Diverse strategies will be used, such as lectures, dialogue, group work and case discussion with critical thinking. During the tutorial contact hours, the teacher will work with small groups of students to guide and support the students in their individual study, or in their projects/assignments. ASSESSMENT In this module, assessment is continuous and formative, including participation in the lessons, analytical and reflective assignments, and a final test.
