Essa abordagem pode ser feita de modo mais temático, concentrado-se nas teses, teoria e argumentos envolvidos nos debates contemporâneos, ou de modo mais histórico, concentrado-se em momentos específicos da história da filosofia da linguagem. Dentre os tópicos que podem ser abordados estão: a natureza do significado linguístico; a distinção entre intensão e extensão; os problemas da referência; a natureza da linguagem da ficção; a distinção entre contextos intensionais e contextos extensionais; linguagem e regras; a distinção entre pragmática e semântica; contextualismo versus minimalismo; internismo versus externismo semânticos; a distinção entre de re e de dicto; teorias da verdade; a disputa entre realismo e antirrealismo semânticos; relativismo sobre a verdade; analiticidade, aprioridade e necessidade; designação rígida e referência direta; a tese da indeterminação da tradução; naturalismo semântico; a teoria dos atos de fala; a natureza da metáfora; a linguagem moral; a linguagem estética. PROGRAMA (parte variável) Estudo introdutório da silogística aristotélica, com foco nas noções centrais mobilizadas nos capítulos iniciais (1 a 7) dos Primeiros Analíticos, Livro I, bem como nos procedimentos e regras de prova aí examinados. Objetivo:
Compreender os fundamentos e a estrutura da silogística aristotélica expostos nos capítulos iniciais dos Primeiros Analíticos I. Conteúdo: Leitura e análise de Primeiros Analíticos I, 1-7. Seminários sobre as interpretações canônicas da silogística aristotélica, com foco nos estudos voltados para esses capítulos da obra. PROCEDIMENTOS DIDÁTICOS Aulas expositivas e seminários conduzidos pelos estudantes.
