Environmental Awareness Information Office The Gabinete de Informação Lipor, information office, develops an intense educational activity to populations, specially schools, trying to create a new environmental awareness. We have now 13 technicians working exclusively in this field. - Promoting Campaigns to reduce Natural Resource use and Manage waste; - Promoting Campaigns towards Preservation and protection of ecosystems; - Assure active participation of citizens, companies, NGO s and Local Authorities. 9
Semente Lipor s Volunteer Association From the initiative of some of our workers, it became possible to gather a group of Volunteers that were willing to give some of their time to others, helping in the construction of a better world. Activities already promoted: - Let s go to circus; - Planting 1.000 trees; - Easter egg; - Charity Round; - Cleaning the beaches; - Riding a smile. 10
