Utilizar diferentes tipos de avaliação de interfaces de usuário nos ajuda a entender melhor o programa na perspectiva do usuário e identificar problemas de design da interação. Using different types of evaluation methods for interfaces helps gain a broader understanding of what the program is doing from the users perspective and find design flaws that exist within the program.
Métodos de Avaliação de IU Métodos de avaliação identificam problemas que os usuários encontram no uso das aplicações, melhorando seu uso. UI Evaluation Methods Evaluation methods are used to find problems with the application that users find, which will make the application more usable.
Usabilidade é um termo que envolve diferentes tipos de avaliação (NIELSEN, J., 2003). Neste estudo abordamos avaliação heurítica, Observação Direta e Testes Orientados a Tarefas. Usability is a term that encompasses many different types of evaluations (NIELSEN, J., 2003). This study utilized three different forms of usability evaluation methods. The three methods are Heuristic Evaluations, Naturalistic Observation and Task-Driven.
Também utilizamos a comunicabilidade. A comunicabilidade enfatiza as mensagens do designer para o usuário (DE SOUZA, C.S.; PRATES, R.O.; BARBOSA, S.D.J., 1999). The last evaluation method utilized was communicability. The best definition of what communicability is,...messages from designers to users (DE SOUZA, C.S.; PRATES, R.O.; BARBOSA, S.D.J., 1999).!

Arthron Server cliente web para vídeo colaboração em Telemedicina desenvolvido pelo GTAVCS. Aplicação utilizada por profssionais de TI e de Saúde. The GTAVCS application is the Arthron Server website client for video collaboration. This application is also intended for health professionals.
Interface em Interação Natural (Kinect) para manipulação de objetos 3D integrada a Arthron para Telemedicina. The application for the Kinect uses Natural Interaction for controll 3D objects. This application is meant to be used for the 3D manipulation of objects for health professionals.

Heuristic Evaluation Naturalistic Observation Task-Driven Communicability Tests Tags de comunicabilidade detectadas o que aconteceu?, porque não funciona? and e agora?. As principais mudanças na interface foram a inserção de botões de localização e feedback para o usuário. Some communicability tags that were seen analyzing the user testing videos were what happened?, why doesn't it? and what now?. The main changes made to the application were to add buttons to give the user feedback on screen to see what they are actually manipulating.
Heuristic Evaluation Naturalistic Observation Task-Driven Communicability Tests Componentes de navegação não apresentaram o funcionamento desejado. Depois da avaliação, componentes foram alterados e direcionamentos adicionais foram inseridos na interface para guiar o usuário. This method led to changing certain navigation components one the website, as well as content within a given part of the site. After this evaluation, the developers improved upon the navigation components of the UI, as well as adding in additional directions to guide the users through each page within the website
Discussão A comparação entre usabilidade e comunicabilidade proporcionou a discussão de prós e contras dos dois métodos. Discussion Comparing different types of Human-Computer Interaction evaluation methods, one can see that each have both pros and cons.
Comunicabilidade discute questões que a usabilidade não abrange a priori. Utilizar as duas perspectivas (usabilidade e comunicabilidade) permite ganhar tempo e identicar problemas de forma mais eficiente. Communicability was able to discuss things that usability might not have been able. Being able to also use multiple methods of evaluation during one test is a benefit. This makes finding issues more efficient, as well as reducing the amount of time it takes to test.
Trabalhos futuros incluem consider aspectos de comparação entre os métodos. Utilizar diferentes métodos de avaliação corrobora com a criação de melhores interfaces endereçando melhor suas características específicas. Future work will include utilizing the different evaluation methods in tandem; this will further the reliability and validity of using both methods at once. As stated, utilizing both usability and communicability can create better programs, on the basis that the procedures used are the right ones for a given application.
