8 How to Use your New York Pass Como usar seu New York Pass Gebruik van uw New York Pass Getting Started Here are some helpful tips to read before you begin using your card. First, make sure that the details on your card are correct, then sign and date the card in the space provided in order to validate it for use. Your New York Pass will then be activated for that calendar day or consecutive calendar days shown on the card. For example, if a 1 day New York Pass is used for the first time on Monday, the card will expire that night at midnight. A 2 day card first used on Monday will expire Tuesday at midnight, a 3 day card on Wednesday, a 5 day card on Friday and a 7 day card on Sunday. Pass will activate when used at your first attraction. Go to the entry showing The New York Pass signs, or as instructed in the attractions pages. Present your Pass and you will be given entry. You will not be required to pay an entry fee, and you may avoid some/certain lines (see listing of Fast Track participants). A limited number of attractions have timed tickets or restricted admission, and you may need to telephone the attraction or arrive there in advance to arrange your entry. Please ensure you check all the details about the attraction you wish to visit in the relevant section of this guidebook. Pass is valid for one admission per attraction.

Manhattan FREE ENTRY Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Immigration Museum E Visit the Statue of Liberty National Monument only a short ferry ride from Battery Park. Be sure not to miss the historic halls and galleries at Ellis Island, where more than 12 million immigrants first entered America. Audio tours are available for free to New York Pass holders to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island. They are available in different languages including Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Russian and Spanish. New York Pass grants you a free Ferry ride that will take you to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, but does not include access inside the Statue of Liberty. Crown access is not available for NY Pass holders. Pedestal access is first come, first serve. The last ferry to both islands is at 3pm, in the Summer it is at 5pm.
