Detailed Description Very visual and appealing to all ages. Momentary operation whilst your switch is activated, so is the beautiful light. Base lights up, as do the tips of the fibres. Can also be used without a switch. Requires 3 AAA batteries. 11. Safety Supervise the use of this product. Do not allow the cable to become a hazard (e.g. a trip hazard). 12. Technical Specification Size: Power: Jack: base 8.5H x 8cm diameter; overall height 31cm 3 x AAA batteries 1/8 (3.5mm)
3 13. Installation 1. Turn the lamp upside down. Using a cross head screw driver open the battery compartment. Insert three AAA batteries, observing the polarity indicated. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw to secure in place.
4 2. If the fibre optics are not already in place in the top of the lamp, insert the solid end into the top of the lamp. 3. Connect the lamp to a switch (not included) via the jack socket at the end of the cable attached. Make sure the ON / OFF switch is set to the OFF position. 3. Activate the lamp by activating the switch you have just connected (momentary operation). 4. Alternatively, set the ON / OFF switch to the ON position and the lamp will be illuminated continuously, without the need for a switch. With the ON / OFF switch set to the ON position, a connected switch will not function. 14. Care and Maintenance Do not allow clients to pull on the cable. Do not immerse the unit in water. Change the batteries when operation becomes erratic. Remove the batteries when the lamp is not in use for prolonged periods. Do not use rechargeable batteries, and do not mix old and new batteries. 15. Troubleshooting Problem: the lamp will not illuminate when the switch is activated Make sure your switch is properly connected (pushed as far as possible into the jack socket). Check the batteries and replace these as required. Make sure your switch is not faulty check it with another switch adapted product Make sure the ON / OFF switch is set to OFF for switch operation. 7 13. Instalação 1. Vire a base ao contrário. Abra o compartimento das pilhas com uma chave de estrela. Instale 3 pilhas AAA, tendo atenção à polaridade indicada. Feche o compartimento das pilhas e aperte o parafuso.
8 2. Se as fibras óticas ainda não estiverem posicionadas em cima da lâmpada, introduza a ponta das fibras óticas no topo da lâmpada. 3. Ligue a lâmpada a um switch (não incluído) através da ligação jack na ponta do cabo. Verifique se o botão ON/OFF está na posição OFF. 4. Ative a lâmpada ativando o switch que acabou de ligar (funcionamento momentâneo). 5. Alternativamente, coloque o botão ON/OFF na posição ON e a lâmpada ficará acesa continuamente, sem necessidade de ligar um switch. Se o botão ON/OFF estiver na posição ON, o switch não irá funcionar. 14. Cuidado e Manutenção Não permita que os utilizadores puxem o cabo. Não imerja este produto em água. Substitua as pilhas quando o funcionamento se tornar errático. Remova as pilhas quando a lâmpada não for utilizada por longos períodos de tempo. Não utilize pilhas recarregáveis e não misture pilhas velhas com pilhas novas. 15. Resolução de Problemas Problema: a lâmpada não acende quando o switch é ativado Verifique se o switch está ligado corretamente (jack completamente encaixado). Verifique as pilhas e substitua as caso seja necessário. Verifique se o seu switch não está avariado experimente com outro produto adaptado para switch.
