2 As a pioneer in compact waste water chemical plants technology, VentilAQUA developped the Compact Unit of physical-chemical waste water treatment solutions, the VAMEC, VAMEF and VAMED units, which have proven to be an effective solution in every application around the world. As a result, industrial waste waters coming from different sources, can be easily treated or pre-treated in a simple and compact system, in order to be able to comply with sewage discharge regulations or environment discharge limits. Furthermore and most commonly, treated waters can be recovered to different industrial processes. The ecological and economic advantages of the compact systems, open up new possibilities for many users to treat their industrial waste waters, in a simple way, with low investment, cost-effective, in a easyfriendly structure, with low space requirements, small footprint, etc. Como pioneira na tecnologia de unidades compactas de tratamento de efluentes industrias, a VentilAQUA desenvolveu unidades compactas de tratamento físico-químico, as soluções VAMEC, VAMEF e VAMED, que têm provado ser uma solução eficiente em variadíssimas aplicações por todo o mundo. Em resultado, as águas residuais de diferentes origens, podem ser facilmente tratadas ou pré-tratadas num sistema compacto e simples, de modo a permitir o cumprimento dos limites de descarga em colector ou em meio hídrico. Para além disso, ou mais frequentemente, as águas tratadas podem ser recuperadas para os diferentes processos industriais. As vantagens ecológicas e económicas destes sistemas, abrem novas possibilidades a muitos usuários para poderem tratar os seus efluentes industriais de uma forma simples, com baixo investimento, numa estrutura simples de operar, com baixas necessidades de espaço utilizado, etc. THE INNOVATION A INOVAÇÂO PACKAGE SOLUTION A ESTRUTURA COMPACTA The VAMEC, VAMEF and VAMED equipments are built in a compact pre-assembled unit all made of PP or PE panels. This panels are welded by a thermo-fusion technique which gives a high structural resistance to the whole unit and avoids any leakage or welding failure, as the weld itself is of same material as all panels, structure and accessories. This compact structure also allows to be easily installed, since most of the components and hydraulic circuits come already pre-assembled to the system. This is also valid for the electric and command circuit. The VAMEC, VAMEF and VAMED units comes also with a centralized plug-in panel, on the side of the machines, where all the hydraulic, waste water, treated water, drain, cleaning water and air connections have their own specific connection point. As unidades VAMEC, VAMEF e VAMED, são compostas por unidades pré-montadas compactas construídas em painéis de PP ou PE. Estes painéis são soldados pela técnica de termofusão que confere uma elevada rigidez estrutural a toda a unidade e evita qualquer fuga ou falha de soldadura, uma vez que a própria solda é do mesmo tipo de material que os painéis, estrutura e acessórios. Estas estruturas compactas permitem igualmente ser facilmente instaladas, já que a maioria dos circuitos hidráulicos encontram-se pré-montados no sistema. O mesmo acontece com os circuitos eléctricos e de comando do sistema. Nas unidades VAMEC, VAMEF e VAMED existe um quadro centralizado de ligações, na lateral da máquina, onde todas as ligações hidráulicas de água a tratar, água tratada, esgoto, água de limpeza e ar, podem ser realizadas. 4 VA MEC CONTINUOUS FLOW PACKAGE UNIT GSM Communication System Pre-assembled Electric Board THE OPERATION PRINCIPLE PRINCIPIO DE OPERAÇÃO Simplified Operation VentilAQUA 4 The VAMEC unit is a continuous operating waste water treatment plant, according to the precipitation flocculation principle, with a sedimentation system for water clarification, based on a lamellar decanter process. It has all the chemical reaction components, including the chemical agents dosing units, the automatic reaction ph control, stirred reaction vessel, etc. Sludges separated on the decanter are automatically discharged through pneumatic actuated valve or pump, with timer control. The unit also includes a final carbon activated filter. It s a complete chemical waste water treatment unit, combined with a lamellar decanter unit, all pre-assembled on a compact structure. A unidade VAMEC é uma unidade de tratamento contínuo de efluentes industriais, de acordo com o principio da precipitação floculação, com um sistema de sedimentação para clarificação de água, baseado num processo de decantação lamelar. Contém todos os componentes de reacção química, incluindo as unidades de dosagem de químicos, o controlo automático do ph de reacção, reactor agitado, etc. As lamas separadas no decantador, são descarregadas de forma automática com recurso a uma válvula com actuador pneumático ou de uma bomba, associadas a um temporizador. A unidade inclui ainda uma filtração final por carvão activado. Trata-se de uma unidade completa de tratamento químico de efluentes, combinada com uma unidade de decantação lamelar, pré-montada numa estrutura compacta.

Low Maintenance THE OPERATION PRINCIPLE PRINCIPIO DE OPERAÇÃO VentilAQUA 6 Possibility of Water Recoery The VAMED unit is a discontinuous (batch) operating waste water treatment plant, according to the precipitation flocculation principle, with a filtration system for water clarification, based on a low pressure bag filtration process. It has all the chemical reaction components, including the chemical agents dosing units, liquid or powder based, the automatic reaction ph control, stirred reaction vessel, etc. The sludge produced on the reaction vessel, is automatically discharged through a pneumatic pump into a low pressure filter bag structure for dewatering, solids beeing retained inside the bags, while the clarified water is sent to a final carbon activated filter unit. It s a complete chemical waste water treatment unit, combined with a low pressure filter bag sludge filtration, all pre-assembled on a compact structure. A unidade VAMED é uma unidade de tratamento descontínuo (por cargas) de efluentes industriais, de acordo com o principio da precipitação floculação, com um sistema de filtração para clarificação de água, baseado num processo de filtração de baixa pressão em saco filtrante. Contém todos os componentes de reacção química, incluindo as unidades de dosagem de químicos, em forma líquida ou sólida (pó), o controlo automático do ph de reacção, reactor agitado, etc. As lamas produzidas no reactor, são descarregadas de forma automática através de uma bomba pneumática para uma estrutura de sacos filtrantes a baixa pressão, enquanto que a água clarificada é enviada para uma filtração final em carvão activado. Trata-se de uma unidade completa de tratamento químico de efluentes, combinada com um sistema de filtração em saco filtrante a baixa pressão, pré-montada numa estrutura compacta.

It has all the chemical reaction components, including the chemical agents dosing units, the automatic reaction ph control, stirred reaction vessel, etc. The flotation unit has all the standard components in such displays, as recirculation pump, air and water flow and pressure control, sludge scrapper and automatic bottom sludge discharge for settling solids, saturation unit, mixing pressurized vessel. It s a complete chemical waste water treatment unit, combined with a flotation unit, all pre-assembled on a compact structure. Very Low Footprint A unidade VAMEF é uma unidade de tratamento contínuo de efluentes industriais, de acordo com o principio da precipitação floculação, com um sistema de flotação para clarificação de água, baseado num processo DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation). Contém todos os componentes de reacção química, incluindo as unidades de dosagem de químicos, o controlo automático do ph de reacção, reactor agitado, etc. A unidade de flotação contém todos os componentes standard, tais como bomba de recirculação, controlo de pressão e caudal de água e de ar, raspador de lama flotada e descarga automática de lama decantada, unidade de saturação e reactor agitado. Trata-se de uma unidade completa de tratamento químico de efluentes, combinada com uma unidade de flotação, pré-montada numa estrutura compacta.
