RESEARCH UNIT NECE Mário Raposo UBI Scientific Coordinator of NECE Covilhã 22/5/29 PRESENTATION NECE Research Unit in Science Business is a departmental unit that gathers the scientific research activities in the field of Accounting; Business; Competitivity and Strategy; Economy; Entrepreneurship; Finance; General Management; Health Care Management; Human Resources; Innovation; Knowledge Management; Logistics; Marketing; Production and Operation Management; Quality Management. In effect, NECE is the scientific research of the Department of Management and Economics of the University of Beira Interior. Projects research activities are structure within lines of investigation.
OBJECTIVES To develop excellent research in the field of management, business, economy and marketing ; To increase the international recognition of the research work, trough the engagement in cross border research networks, as well developing the publications in international journal and conferences. To contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the economics, management, business and marketing scientific fields; To serve as an institutional basis to make external relationships with national and foreign universities; To be a solid basis to improve the pos-graduate level master and doctoral programmers, in the economics, management, business and marketing scientific fields at UBI; To involve pos graduate students in the research activities of the Unit; To promote the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, summer courses in the mains scientific developed in the research Unit.
