Quando o navio partir de um porto de águas interiores é permitido aumentar o carregamento de uma quantidade que corresponde ao peso do combustível e demais materiais a serem consumidos desde o ponto de partida até atingir o mar. 2. Quando o navio navegar em água doce de densidade relativa unitária a linha de carga apropriada poderá ser submersa pela redução para água doce indicada.
