Rio 2016 Olympic Torchthrills residents of Corumbá de Goiás and Pirenópolis Flame visited a waterfall, took a balloon ride androde a horse; Zezé di Camargo and Luciano were moved in their hometown Thepeople of Goiás embraced the Olympic flame on the second day of the Rio 2016Torch Relay. In the towns of Corumbá de Goiás and Pirenópolis, the streets werefilled with families, children performing dances in squares, Olympic sport demonstrationsand decoration representing the best of the state: garlands of yellow caraíba flowersfrom the region, baskets of fruits and vegetables, coloured ribbons and manymasks. Displays of local folklore were held in both towns. InPirenópolis, after being taken up in a balloon, the Olympic torch reached thehands of two idols of sertaneja (Brazilian country) music, Zezé Di Camargo andluciano. They together carried the flame to the town s main church, to thedelight of around 15,000 people who had gathered in the square to see the stars with the torch close-up. TheOlympic Games promote peace and unity between people. I never thought that Iwould be crossing this street, next to my brother, carrying in my handsthe world s biggest sports symbol, on the same cobblestones where I walked wheni was a child. The company has made cars at the Renault Nissan Alliance plant in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, since 2002, and it invested R$2.6 billion to build its own industrial complex in Resende, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. This industrial site, which opened in April 2014, is able to produce 200,000 cars and 200,000 engines per year.
