PT EN revestimentos fi nishes O latão é um material semi-nobre, com uma grande capacidade de resistência à corrosão. Apesar disso, nas aplicações mais exigentes, é necessário dar ao produto uma protecção contra a oxidação e simultaneamente evidenciar as suas características decorativas. Infelizmente, a durabilidade conferida pelos revestimentos orgânicos convencionais é, em muitas aplicações, inferior ao tempo de vida útil da peça, principalmente onde o meio ambiente é mais agressivo. Aos produtos de topo de gama, é exigido pelo consumidor que mantenham a sua aparência superfi cial inicial durante toda a sua vida funcional. É pois de máxima importância, que a escolha do acabamento se adapte às características do meio ambiente em que o produto é instalado, principalmente quando se trata de uma envolvência agressiva, como por exemplo, casos de proximidade marítima, ambientes com incidência de gases, detergentes, diluentes, uso agressivo por acção mecânica, etc. A CIFIAL dispõe fundamentalmente de duas tecnologias de revestimentos: Revestimentos Tradicionais e Revestimentos Tecnológicos Os primeiros incluem os orgânicos e electrolíticos. Os segundos o PVD. - Revestimentos Tradicionais Revestimentos Orgânicos, baseados na projecção electrostática de vernizes. Este revestimento protege e retarda o envelhecimento do produto. - Revestimentos Electrolíticos Vulgarmente designados por Galvanostegia, são executados em instalações automáticas modernas, suportadas por estações de tratamento de efl uentes, benefi ciando de uma experiência com mais de 35 anos. O processo de electrodeposição galvânica confere ao substrato (latão) a resistência à corrosão, através de espessuras superiores a 15 mícrons de níquel, e de 0,25 mícrons para o caso do crómio. Previamente à operação de recobrimento, é de fundamental importância para a qualidade fi nal do produto, efectuar uma correcta preparação das superfi cíes a recobrir, através de robots de lixagem e máquinas CNC de polimento. Sempre que necessário um toque manual, dá a personalização fi nal que caracteriza os produtos CIFIAL. - Revestimentos Tecnológicos PVD - Physical Vapor Deposition, é o mais alto padrão na área dos recobrimentos, conseguido através de um processo de revestimento por deposição física de vapores de Zircónio, Titâneo, ou outro material. Esta, é uma tecnologia resultante da investigação aeroespacial, tendo sido através dela, que se conseguiu alcançar uma protecção térmica e antifricção das telhas das naves espaciais de tal forma elevada, que se alcançou um comportamento em perfeitas condições de segurança na reentrada das naves, na atmosfera terrestre. Esta tecnologia é largamente utilizada nos recobrimentos duros, nomeadamente nas pistas de rolamentos e nas ferramentas de corte, conferindo-lhes a resistência necessária às suas funções. ASSISTÊNCIAS TÉCNICAS A CIFIAL presta o Serviço de Assistência Técnica gratuito apenas nas situações de defeito de fabrico. É declinada qualquer responsabilidade, nos casos de má instalação, condições de abastecimento de água fora das especifi cações legais, uso indevido e mau manuseamento, falta de manutenção e limpeza incorrecta (ou seja uso de produtos abrasivos, ácidos e químicos agressivos). A confi rmação do defeito de fabrico, deve ser feita por técnicos da CIFIAL, nas nossas instalações (situação em que o produto dá entrada no departamento de qualidade), ou pela verifi cação no local, quando o tipo e dimensão do problema o justifi que. Após a análise da ocorrência, sempre que não se confi rme a responsabilidade da CIFIAL, o serviço será debitado. Note-se que, uma parte signifi cativa das ocorrências para as quais é solicitada a intervenção da CIFIAL, pode ser solucionada com operações simples de limpeza, manutenção e regulação (instruções que acompanham o produto), nomeadamente, remoção de areias das válvulas e dos emulsores, etc. 3. PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONS - TAPS 3.1) C-UPC CERTIFICATION (USA AND CANADA) Cifi al taps are certifi ed according to Standard ASME A112.18.1/ CSA B125 by the Accredited Organisation IAPMO. This certifi cation includes the conformity according to Standard NSF 61-section 9, that specifi es maximum contents of metals and organic components on products that are in contact with water for human consumption. 3.2) ACS CERTIFICATION Cifi al taps are undergoing certifi cation by the Accredited Organisation CRECEP, in France, according to ACS (Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire) - Certifi cation System for Sanitary Conformity. This certifi cation ensures the sanitary conformity of the materials used in water distribution systems. 3.3) CERTIF CERTIFICATION Cifi al taps are undergoing certifi cation by the Accredited Organisation CERTIF, according to European standards applicable to these products such as EN 2 or NP EN 817.
