ICS-GT INTEGRATED CONTROL SYSTEM FOR GAS TURBINE
ICS Gas Turbine Complete Control ICS-GT control system is an plc-based, integrated solution for gas turbine control and protection. The ICS-GT control system setup ranges from one to three sections according to the complexity of system. The choice of the right setup is performed during the very first steps of the proposal simply filling up a form. The presence of ancillary subsystems such as Fire&Gas or vibration monitor racks is contemplated as well. Control Panel Set up Three macro setup can be configured: Core: one section performing the gas turbine control and protection; Aux: two sections, Core plus a section dedicated to auxiliaries controls, centrifugal compressor control or generator synchronization; Plant: three sections, Aux plus a section dedicated to plant controls; Core configuration A single 800mm width section is dedicated to the Turbine control core. The Turbine section contains: One PLC rack for the Simplex Configuration, ore Two CPU racks for the Duplex Configuration; All the I/O cards are directly on the rack in order to maximize the signals update; Redundant power supplier for the 24 Vdc; Front keypad for the system configuration; Relay, fuses, switches, horn; Description The control system can be configured as Simplex Or Duplex. Simplex means a single CPU governing the system, duplex means two CPUs: one actually controlling the system (Master), the other one ready to replace the Master on the fly in case of fault (Slave). The Duplex configuration increase the availability of the system: when one CPU is not available (for any reason, for example during a SW upgrade) the other one carries the system.
