The objectives of the program were the following. Develop a system for teachers and students in the university, focused on collaborative learning activities;. Enable the learning resources to be reached over the internet, in multiple platforms (desktop computers, tablets, smartphones);. Stimulate learning through interactive collaboration;
Enable knowledge regarding case studies, clinical statistics and treatment conditions;. Connect students and teachers to health institutes, university hospitals and groups of interests;. Create new interest groups, encouraging new points of discussion;. Provide new tools to spread knowledge for the medical community.
