EEFFTO UFMG. - Programa Multicêntrico de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Fisiológicas - SBFis/Campus da Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri Justificativa O evento dará oportunidade de contato próximo dos alunos com pesquisadores de renome internacional na área de fisiologia do exercício e da regulação autonômica. Durante o workshop, os alunos terão chance de conhecer de perto o trabalho destes pesquisadores, assim como mostrar os seus trabalhos e discutir seus dados com os mesmos. Público alvo Alunos de mestrado e doutorado dos programas de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Biológicas (Fisiologia e Farmacologia), em Ciências do Esporte (Treinamento Esportivo) e Ciências Fisiológicas (Fisiologia do Exercício da UFVJM). Poderão também se inscrever alunos de pós-graduação de áreas afins.
Dinâmica do evento A língua oficial do evento será o Inglês. Ao se inscreverem, os alunos devem mandar um resumo do trabalho a ser apresentado sob a forma de pôster. Dentre os trabalhos inscritos serão escolhidos 10 trabalhos para apresentação oral. O evento consistirá de 6 apresentações de pesquisadores convidados e 10 apresentações orais de alunos. Haverá uma sessão de pôster (30) onde os professores convidados farão uma visita programada para avaliação. Poderão ser inscritos pôsteres já apresentados em congressos locais recentes como a FESBE (Federação das Sociedades de Biologias Experimentais). A plenária do evento será aberta ao público inscrito até a capacidade do anfiteatro (250 lugares). Na semana anterior ao evento, os inscritos receberão por email um artigo publicado de cada pesquisador convidado que servirá de base para suas respectivas apresentações. Desta maneira os alunos estarão mais preparados para a discussão dos temas apresentados. Na manhã seguinte durante 2 h haverá 6 sessões separadas em 6 salas diferentes (meeting the professor) onde os alunos poderão dialogar informalmente com os convidados dentro de suas especialidade e indagar sobre as oportunidade de estágios de pesquisa em suas universidades de origem. (http://www.ufvjm.edu.br/site/pmpgcf/) - FAPEMIG, CAPES Aim The event will provide an unique opportunity for graduate students to present their work and discuss their data with senior researchers in the area of autonomic regulation and exercise physiology. Target Audience Master's and PhD s students from the Life Sciences (Physiology and Pharmacology) and the Sports Sciences Graduate Programmes. Graduate candidates from related areas may also enroll. Dynamic The event's official language will be English. When registering, students will be requested to submit an abstract of the study to be presented in the form of poster. Among the entries, 10 abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. The event will consist of six presentations by invited speakers and 10 oral presentations of the local students. In addition, there will be a poster session, with the invited scientists evaluating the local students works. In the weeks preceding the event, registrants will receive via e-mail one article published by each guest researcher to serve as a guide for their presentations. This shall aid the students to become better prepared to discuss the issues presented.
Granting of Academic Credits Academic credit will be granted (15 h) for applicants who submit an abstract (oral or poster presentation), and attend the plenary lectures.
