Objetivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências) Fornecer uma base sólida sobre Análise Matemática em IR, noções básicas sobre matrizes (operações e aplicações), que permita aos estudantes o prosseguimento, bem sucedido, nas restantes disciplinas do curso. Em termos genéricos pretende-se que o estudante desenvolva as suas capacidades de raciocínio indutivo e dedutivo, de aprofundar conhecimentos com objectividade, de exposição e tratamento dos conhecimentos que vão sendo adquiridos com clareza e rigor de linguagem. Especificamente o estudante deve dominar os conceitos envolvidos nos conteúdos programáticos e utilizá-los com destreza, e também, saber aplicá-los, com maleabilidade e sentido crítico, a outras disciplinas e a outras áreas científicas. Conteúdos programáticos Números reais: Valor absoluto de um nº real; Números Complexos: forma trigonométrica; Operações com números complexos; Representação geométrica; Representação trigonométrica; Operações na Complementos sobre funções reais de variável real: Funções elementares; Limites e continuidade; Cálculo de derivadas; Teoremas de Rolle e de Cauchy; Extremos, concavidades, assíntotas e zeros da função. 3 Metodologias de ensino (avaliação incluída) Aulas Teóricas? exposição teórica dos conteúdos, com recurso ao "power point ", alternada com exemplos práticos e interagindo com os alunos. Aulas Teórico-Práticas? Resolução pelo docente de exercícios (com pelo menos um exercício sobre cada ponto programático) após discussão com os alunos do enunciado, dos métodos a utilizar e do esclarecimento das dúvidas surgidas. Orientação Tutorial? Esclarecimento de dúvidas sobre a resolução de exercícios. Modo de Avaliação Na actividade lectiva: 2 testes, não podendo cada um dos testes ter uma classificação inferior a 7,5 valores. Por exame (normal ou recurso): Exame constituído por 2 partes. O aluno realizará o exame completo ou apenas as partes em que obteve uma classificação inferior a 10 valores, não podendo cada uma das partes ter uma classificação inferior a 7,5 valores. Fica aprovado se obtiver classificação? 10 na avaliação final obtida. The students intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) Provide a solid foundation on mathematical analysis in IR, understanding templates (operations and applications), allowing students to continue, successfully, in other disciplines of the course. In generic terms it is intended that the students develop their skills of inductive and deductive reasoning, to deepen knowledge with objectivity, exposure and processing of knowledge being acquired with clarity and precision of language. Specifically the student must master the concepts involved in curriculum and use them with dexterity, and also learn to apply them with critical sense and flexibility other disciplines and other scientific areas. Syllabus Real numbers: absolute value of a real number; Complex numbers: operations with complex numbers; Geometric representation; Trigonometric representation; Operations in trigonometric form; Add-ons on real functions of real variable: Elementary functions; Limits and continuity; Calculation of derived; Rolle?s and Cauchy theorems; Extremes, concavity, asymptotes and zeros of the function. Integral Calculus: Integration formulas; integration methods; integration of rational functions; definite integral; Barrow formula; Integration methods; Area between two curves, volumes of solids of revolution, the length of a plane curve, area of a surface of revolution; Matrices: Particular matrices; Operations with matrices, properties; Transposed matrices, inverse; Determinants; Calculation of determinants; Properties of determinants; System of linear equations; System solution; Matrix representation; Cramer's rule; Calculation of the system through the inverse matrices. Teaching methodologies (including evaluation) Lectures? theoretical exposition of the contents, using the "power point", alternated with practical examples and interacting with students. Theoretical-practical lessons? Resolution by the staff of exercises (with at least one exercise on each programmatic point) after discussion with students of the utterance, the methods to be used and the clarification of the doubts that have arisen. Orientation Tutorial? Clarification of doubts about the resolution of exercises. Evaluation mode In teaching activity: 2 tests and each of the tests have a rating of less than 7,5 values. Per exam (normal or resource): Examination consists of 2 parts. The student will carry out thorough examination or only the parts where he obtained a rating of less than 10 values, each party may not have a rating of less than 7,5 values.
