Once again this year the rule for cancelling daily Mass is as follows; when school is cancelled for both Espirito Santo School and the Fall River Public Schools Daily Mass is cancelled here at Espirito Santo Church. The Mass intention for this day will be joined with the Mass Intention of the next day. Cancelamento de Missa Diária devido ao Mau Tempo! O inverno chegou e com a chegada do inverno vem a neve. Mais uma vez este ano iremos cancelar a Missa diária; quando a Escola do Espírito Santo e e as Escolas Públicas de Fall River foram canceladas a Missa diária será cancelada na Igreja Espírito Santo. A intenção da Missa deste dia será celebrada juntamente com a intenção da Missa do dia seguinte. Feast of the Presentation: On Tuesday, February 2 nd at the 8 o clock Mass, we will celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. Christ, the King of Glory and Light of the World, is presented in the Temple. As customary, candles will be blessed during Mass. These candles are for use in the home, particularly when the Sacraments are brought to the sick. Candles will be available after Mass that day and during the week. The cost of each of box of two candles is $2.75, but we appreciate any donation you can give.
