Objetivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências). Aprender a ler criticamente jornais. Conhecer as diferenças entre géneros jornalísticos. Identificar técnicas de redação, a hierarquização da informação, o ângulo ideológico da construção discursiva, estruturas narrativas, fontes e validação da informação, títulos, ilustração. Desenvolver, aprofundar e consolidar a competência comunicacional escrita em português, levando à prática a correção, a clareza e a concisão Conteúdos programáticos 1. Jornais e linguagem. 2. A escrita jornalística: escrever sobre quê, porquê, como e para quem; fontes e dados; textos narrativos, descritivos e explicativos. 3. Géneros jornalísticos: notícia, perfil, entrevista, reportagem, artigo de opinião, crónica. 4. Técnicas de construção de textos jornalísticos: selecionar, hierarquizar, escolher o ângulo. A pirâmide invertida e o lead da notícia. A titulação e a valorização da escrita pelo diálogo com a imagem e o grafismo. 5. 3 Metodologias de ensino (avaliação incluída) As aulas serão teórico-práticas ao articularem a leitura crítica da imprensa portuguesa com exercícios práticos de análise e ocasionalmente de escrita jornalística. Os alunos devem assistir a um mínimo de 75% das aulas e OTs. A avaliação é feita no regime de avaliação por frequência e posterior exame final. O cálculo da média final para este regime de avaliação faz-se do seguinte modo: a) trabalhos práticos e intervenções na aula: 50%; b) teste final: 50%. Os alunos que obtenham menos de 9,5 nesta avaliação deverão apresentar-se ao exame. Os alunos que não cumpram a regra da assistência a 75% das aulas e OTs apenas poderão apresentar-se ao exame de recurso. The students intended learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences). To learn to read newspapers critically. To know the differences between journalistic genres. To identify writing techniques, hierarchization of information, ideological angle of discursive construction, narrative structures, sources and validation of information, titles, illustration. To develop, deepen and consolidate written communicational competence in Portuguese, leading to correctness, clarity and conciseness Syllabus 1. Newspapers and language. 2. Journalistic writing: writing about what, why, how and for whom; sources and data; narrative, descriptive and explanatory texts. 3. Journalistic genres: news, profile, interview, report, opinion article, chronicle. 4. Journalistic writing techniques: to select, to rank, to choose the angle. The inverted pyramid and the news lead. The titling and valorization of writing through dialogue with the image and graphics. 5. Aspects of the critical areas of Portuguese (vocabulary, linguistic levels, syntax). 6 Teaching methodologies (including evaluation) Students must attend a minimum of 75% of classes and OTs. The evaluation is done in the regime of evaluation by frequency and later final examination. The calculation of the final average for this evaluation regime is as follows: a) practical assignments and classroom interventions: 50%; b) final test: 50%. Students who score less than 9.5 in this evalluation should take the exam. Students who do not follow the attendance rule of 75% of classes and OTs will only be able to attend the 2nd exam (exame de recurso).
