2 Objectivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências a desenvolver pelos estudantes) Objetivos - Situar o Serviço Social no âmbito da intervenção social, nomeadamente através da análise das funções dos profissionais de Serviço Social tendo em conta os contextos, os campos de atuação, as problemáticas e a população alvo; - Promover a aproximação dos estudantes aos profissionais do SS que atuam em contextos diversificados; - Apoiar o desenvolvimento de competências pessoais, interpessoais e profissionais; - Sensibilizar para os valores e princípios éticos da profissão do Serviço Social. Espera-se que os estudantes desenvolvam competências nos seguintes domínios: - Conhecimento de si mesmo e dos outros, reconhecendo a relação entre as expetativas pessoais e o sistema de valores do quadro axiológico do Serviço Social; - Observação e reflexão crítica acerca das realidades sociais e dos contextos de intervenção do Serviço Social; - Trabalho em grupo e treino da comunicação oral; - Gestão de informação e escrita académica. Learning outcomes of the curricular unit Goals - To frame social work in social intervention, in particular by analyzing the functions of social work professionals taking into account the contexts, the playing fields, the problems and the target population; - To promote the approach of students to SW professionals working in different contexts; - To support the development of personal, interpersonal and professional skills; - To raise awareness to the values and ethical principles of the profession of social work. It is expected that students develop skills in the following areas: - Knowledge of yourself and others, recognizing the relationship between personal expectations and the value system of the axiological framework of Social Work; - Observation and critical reflection about the social realities and social service intervention contexts; - Group work and training of oral communication; - Information management and academic writing.????? 4 Metodologia de Ensino e Avaliação A metodologia de ensino concentra-se em duas dimensões principais: - o desenvolvimento de atividades reflexivas, que permitam ao estudante posicionar-se no mundo que o rodeia, avaliando os significados que atribui às realidades sociais e sistematizando o seu processo de aprendizagem; - uma abordagem experimental e participativa, através do contacto com os profissionais de Serviço Social e da sua análise e registo. Desta forma, serão desenvolvidas sessões de carácter expositivo, combinadas com uma metodologia participativa, através da realização de trabalhos de grupo e da interação dos estudantes com profissionais de Serviço Social (apresentações em sala de aula e eventuais visitas de estudo). Sistema de Avaliação: Avaliação Contínua- trabalho individual sobre freguesia de residência (15%); trabalho de grupo acerca das áreas de intervenção do SS (35%); e reflexão final individual sobre a experiência de aprendizagem na unidade curricular (50%) E/OU Avaliação final por exame (100%). Teaching and Assesment Methodologies The teaching methodology focuses on two main dimensions: - The development of reflective activities enabling the student to position himself/ herself in the world around him/ her, evaluating his/ her significance to social realities and systematizing the learning process; - An experimental and participatory approach, through contact with social work professionals, its analysis and record. Thus, expository character sessions will be developed, combined with a participatory approach, by conducting group work and interaction of students with social work professionals (presentations in the classroom and possible study visits). Evaluation system: Continued evaluation: - individual work on the parish of residence (15%); group work review about the SS intervention areas (35%); and individual final reflection on the learning experience in the course (50%) AND / OR Final evaluation by examination (100%).
