2 EXPO CATADORES 2013 It s a business event, experience exchange, knowledge dissemination and technologies for efficient solid waste management. From the total waste discarded daily, 80% could be recycled or reused in many different ways. We recycle less than 10% of urban waste, against 40% recycled in Europe and in United States. Expocatadores 2013 is the business opportunity in Brazil and abroad: The event will have the key names in of the recycling industry in Brazil, Latin America and Caribbean, Asia and Europe.

The collector takes the waste from the streets, reducing the landfills volume and increasing its life. It s a good deal for society. The catcher calls the citizen attention to a garbage that is not garbage, educating others for conscious consumption. It s good business for companies. Some of the largest Brazilian companies are including recycling and reverse logistics in their practices.

5 MARKETING NUMBERS 80% of the collectors belong to MNCR (Collectors National Movement): we have more than 1 million collectors in Brazil, belong to MNCR. The collectors are responsible for collecting 90% of everything that is recycled in brazil nowadays. Each collector take more than 3 tons/month of recyclable material. Also, there are about organizations who collect recyclable material in Brazil 14 countries participate of this event.

Companies that buy raw materials (recycled material) free of tax (IPI). Logistics and consulting companies. Banks, organizations and town hall that perform, promote or finance projects related to selective collection and sustainability and solidarity recycling.
