O programa do Congresso tem como objetivo principal discutir aspectos científicos e educacionais fundamentais para todos os profissionais que atuam em Hematologia, Hemoterapia e Terapia Celular. Os avanços que ocorrem hoje em todas as áreas de nossas especialidades são excepcionais, e o Congresso oferece a oportunidade a todos os participantes de ampliar seus conhecimentos sobre o presente e o futuro da Hematologia e da Hemoterapia. Na forma já tradicional do Hemo, o programa educacional no primeiro dia terá como prioridade a análise de casos clínicos e o treinamento prático e gerencial em hemoterapia e laboratório, com 16 sessões. In 2014 this important meeting will take place in the gorgeous city of Florianópolis. The Congress program is intended to discuss the key scientific and educational aspects for all professionals who work in the field of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cell Therapy. The advances that occur at present in the areas of our specialty are extraordinary and the Congress provides the opportunity for all participants to broaden their knowledge on the present and future of Hematology and Hemotherapy. Following its traditional structure, the educational program in the first day will focus on the analysis of clinical cases and the practical and managerial training in hemotherapy and laboratory that will be composed of 16 sessions. In the subsequent days, there will be 48 conferences, 44 round-tables, 7 sessions of How do I Treat, 1 plenary session, and 1 inaugural conference, in addition to the multidisciplinary events and corporate symposia. 4 ONDE ACONTECE/EVENT VENUE ABERTURA OFICIAL/ OFFICIAL OPENING Florianópolis, capital do estado de Santa Catarina (SC)/ Florianópolis, a Brazilian city which is the capital of Santa Catarina state Conhecida também como Ilha da agia. Situa-se no litoral catarinense, com uma parte insular (ilha de Santa Catarina) e outra continental, incorporada à cidade em 1927, com a construção da ponte pênsil Hercílio Luz, de 820 m de comprimento, que ligou a ilha ao continente e possui entre 20 e 40 metros de altitude. Varrida por ventos muito variáveis, possui um clima subtropical úmido, que se caracteriza pela alternância de verões e invernos, e farta distribuição anual de chuvas. Suas 42 praias contribuíram para que a cidade se tornasse a capital turística do ercosul, com intenso movimento turístico durante todo o verão, formado principalmente por argentinos, gaúchos e paulistas. O plano da cidade originou-se a partir da Praça XV de Novembro, estendendo-se até o pé da colina onde se eleva a catedral. A articulação dos bairros e subúrbios faz-se através de ruas ou avenidas, de longo e sinuoso traçado, entre o mar e as encostas dos morros. Apesar das sensíveis modificações introduzidas por construções modernas, a paisagem urbana guarda ainda muito do aspecto arquitetônico colonial. Florianópolis é uma das três capitais insulares do Brasil. Vem se firmando cada vez mais como centro de turismo, graças às praias (Jurerê, Canavieiras, Ingleses, Armação, entre outras) que circulam a ilha e à beleza da Lagoa da Conceição, a 13 Km de distância do centro. Nos arredores da lagoa, são características as rendas de bilros, de tradição açoriana. Entre os monumentos históricos da cidade, destacam-se a casa de Vitor eireles, os fortes e a catedral metropolitana. Considerada por muitos habitantes e turistas que a visitam como detentora de uma beleza singular, dotada de fortes traços da cultura açoriana, observados nas edificações, artesanato, folclore, culinária e tradições religiosas, Florianópolis tem no turismo uma de suas principais fontes de renda. It is located in the Santa Catarina coast, with an insular part (Santa Catarina Island) and other mainland which was incorporated into the city in 1927, through the construction of the suspension bridge Hercílio Luz 2690 feet long that connects the island to the mainland. Esteve ativamente envolvido em pesquisa clínica e translacional como investigador principal em mais de vinte estudos, incluindo alguns em fase I para avaliar novas drogas para o tratamento de doenças hemorrágicas e trombóticas. Também foi editor associado da revista Haemophilia e vem atuando como revisor de mais de trinta periódicos, incluindo a Haemophilia, Blood, British Journal of Haematology e o Journal of Trombosis and Haemostasis. Onco-Hematologia/Onco-hematology Valder Arruda - EUA/USA.D., Ph.D. Associate professor of Pediatrics Perelman School of edicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Clinically trained hematologist with an interest in the etiology and treatment of disorders of blood coagulation. The graduate and early postgraduate studies in Brazil were directed at characterizing the molecular basis of hemophilia (Blood, 1995) and thrombophilia. We are developing novel variants of coagulation factor VIII or factor IX with enhanced biological activity to optimize gene and protein based strategies. Francesco Passamonti - ITÁLIA/ITALY D. University Hospital Ospedale di Circolo, Fondazione acchi, Varese, Italy. Head of the Division of Hematology of the University Hospital of Varese, Italy. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Pavia, subsequently becoming a specialist in Hematology. He worked as assistant professor of Hematology at the University of Pavia and as hematologist at the Division of Hematology of Policlinico San atteo, Pavia, Italy. He is principal investigator in many clinical trials in hematological malignancies, however, his main area of interest is in Philadelphia-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (PN), polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, and myelofibrosis. Guillermo Dighiero - URUGUAI/URUGUAY He obtained his medicine title in Uruguay and continues his academic and professional career in the globally recognized Pasteur Institute, from France, where he became professor, director of the Hematoimmunology and immunopathology, becoming 1 st line researcher from this famous institution and from the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), also from France. His research work, which now has over 30 years, was focus on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), with special interest in B-Cell function on this disease; this led him to win numerous international awards. Also, he has been a key point on the development of scientific relations between Uruguay and France ending on the generation of new active researchers, as a matter of fact, on ay 2012, the French government gave Dr. Dighiero the highest grade from Las Palmas Academicas award, the commandeur, for his hard work on this endeavors. Since December 2004, he has served as executive director from the Pasteur Institute in ontevideo, Uruguay. Ultimately, professor Dighiero has been working on the structuration and direction of the CLL Latin-American group. Andrzej Jakubowiak - EUA/USA Completed medical and doctorate degrees at the edical Academy in Poznan, Poland, a residency in medicine at University of Texas, Houston, TX, and a fellowship training in medical hematology/oncology at emorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, in New York City. In 2000, Jakubowiak joined the faculty at the University of ichigan where he established the myeloma program, and in October 2011 he became a member of the faculty and a Director of the ultiple yeloma Program at the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL. Among his many awards, He received the ultiple yeloma Research Consortium s yeloma Center of the Year Award in 2008 and He is lead investigator for a number of multi-site clinical trials and is a frequently invited lecturer. SCIENTIFIC WORKS Oral presentations - The abstracts will be presented in order determined by the Scientific Committee; it was selected abstracts related to the topic discussed in the round table. The oral presentations will be together with the round-tables (90 minutes): 3 lectures of 20 minutes, 2 oral presentations of 7 minutes each one and 3 minutes for final discussion. At the end, there will be 10 minutes to discuss the lectures presented at the beginning. During discussion the three speakers and the two presenters shall keep in the board. Panels and guided tour - The works selected for panels will be exhibited randomly, on days 7 and 8, in front of the restaurant, and edited in the Annals - an integral part of the Journal of The Brazilian Association of Hemotherapy and Hematology. The authors are responsible for the posting (from 8:30 am on the day of presentation) and withdrawal (from 18:00 to 18:30 of the same day), as the secretariat is not responsible for works not removed. RESOLUÇÃO - RDC n o 23, de 20 de AIO de 2009 Altera a Resolução de Diretoria Colegiada RDC n o 96, de 18 de dezembro de 2008 A Diretoria Colegiada da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária, no uso da atribuição que lhe confere o inciso IV do art. 11 do Regulamento aprovado pelo Decreto n o 3.029, de 16 de abril de 1999, e tendo em vista o disposto no inciso II e nos 1º e 3º do art. 54 do Regimento Interno aprovado nos termos do Anexo I da Portaria n o 354 da ANVISA, de 11 de agosto de 2006, republicada no DOU de 21 de agosto de 2006, em reunião realizada em 19 de maio de 2009, e adota a seguinte Resolução da Diretoria Colegiada e eu, Diretor-Presidente, determino a sua publicação: Art. 1º O Art. 3º da Resolução de Diretoria Colegiada - RDC n o 96, de 18 de dezembro de 2008, passa a vigorar com a seguinte redação: " 3º - O conteúdo das referências bibliográficas citadas na propaganda ou publicidade de medicamentos isentos de prescrição devem estar disponíveis pela empresa no Serviço de Atendimento ao Consumidor (SAC) e no serviço de atendimento aos profissionais prescritores e dispensadores de medicamentos. 4º - O conteúdo das referências bibliográficas citadas na propaganda ou publicidade de medicamentos de venda sob prescrição devem estar disponíveis no serviço de atendimento aos profissionais prescritores e dispensadores de medicamentos." (NR) Art. 2º O Art. 9º da Resolução de Diretoria Colegiada - RDC n o 96, de 18 de dezembro de 2008, passa a vigorar com a seguinte redação: "V - quando constar das propriedades aprovadas no registro do medicamento na Anvisa, informar que o medicamento pode ser utilizado por qualquer faixa etária, inclusive por intermédio de imagens." (NR) Art. 3º O Art. 12 da Resolução de Diretoria Colegiada - RDC n o 96, de 18 de dezembro de 2008, passa a vigorar com a seguinte redação: "É permitido oferecer, aos prescritores e dispensadores, material com a relação de medicamentos genéricos em lista que contemple o número de registro na Anvisa, o nome do detentor do registro, a apresentação, incluindo a concentração, a forma farmacêutica e a quantidade, o nome do medicamento de referência e o respectivo detentor do registro, ficando dispensadas as informações dos artigos 17, 22, 23 e 27 deste Regulamento."(NR) Art. 4º O Art. 13 da Resolução de Diretoria Colegiada - RDC n o 96, de 18 de dezembro de 2008, passa a vigorar com a seguinte redação: "É permitido somente às distribuidoras de medicamentos, farmácias e drogarias receberem catálogo de produtos contendo as seguintes informações: nome comercial dos medicamentos, incluindo àqueles sujeitos à retenção de receita; a substância ativa de acordo com a DCB/ DCI; a apresentação, incluindo a concentração, forma farmacêutica e quantidade; o número de registro na Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária; e o respectivo preço, ficando dispensadas as informações dos artigos 17, 22, 23 e 27." (NR) DIRCEU RAPOSO DE ELLO CNA - Comissão Nacional de Acreditação/ National Committee of Accreditation Evento SUBETIDO a PONTUAÇÃO NOTA OFICIAL: A despeito da publicação, no dia 9 de fevereiro de 2012, da Resolução CF nº 1.984/2012, revogando a Resolução CF nº 1.772/2005 que institui o Certificado de Atualização Profissional (CAP) para os portadores dos títulos de especialista e certificados de áreas de atuação e cria a Comissão Nacional de Acreditação (CNA), a Associação édica Brasileira informa que o processo será mantido, sem prejuízo aos envolvidos. Com o auxílio de todas as sociedades de especialidade filiadas, a AB será agora a única responsável por administrar a pontuação dos eventos científicos necessários para que o Certificado de Atualização Profissional (CAP) seja emitido, garantindo assim que o médico especialista possui conhecimentos atuais sobre a prática médica. A AB informa ainda que as regras para a atualização continuam as mesmas: o médico portador de título de especialista ou certificado de área de atuação que acumular 100 pontos no período de 5 anos sequenciais receberá a atualização de seu documento por meio do CAP. Em relação ao cadastramento de eventos e a comprovação de participação dos médicos, os organizadores de eventos deverão continuar inscrevendo os mesmos no site e enviando as listas de participação dentro do tempo previsto. Entretanto, devido ao processo de reestruturação interna da CNA, a AB prorrogou a emissão dos primeiros CAPs, programados para dezembro de 2011, para dezembro de É importante salientar ainda que o título de especialista ou certificado de área de atuação não perde seu valor. O médico inscrito no processo precisa apenas comprovar que se manteve atualizado após ser aprovado nas provas de obtenção do documento.
