4 IMAGENS MÉDICAS PELA VIDA IMAG Fundada em 1969, a Tecnifar surge no seio de duas empresas nacionais: a Medicamenta e o Instituto Luso-Fármaco, cuja origem remonta ao fim da Segunda Guerra Mundial e que operavam no setor farmacêutico. Em 1986, a Tecnifar torna-se um laboratório independente do grupo que lhe deu origem, dirigido à comercialização de medicamentos de uso humano, permanecendo com capital 100% nacional e controlado pela família Chaves Costa. Nos últimos anos, o grupo definiu como plano estratégico o crescimento em vetores de negócio distintos daqueles que tinha vindo a explorar historicamente, mantendo no entanto o vínculo com o setor da saúde. Este plano está a ser consubstanciado pela criação de uma rede de diagnósticos pluridisciplinar suportada em tecnologia de ponta e diferenciação de exames, de nome IMAG. IMAG Founded in 1969, Tecnifar emerged from two national companies: Medicamenta and Instituto Luso- -Fármaco, which started up at the end of the Second World War and operated in the pharmaceutical sector. In 1986, Tecnifar became an independent laboratory of its original group, focusing on the marketing of medicinal products for human use, having continued with 100% national capital and controlled by the Chaves Costa family. Over these last years, the group defined its strategic plan as growth in business areas different from those in which it had operated historically, however, maintaining its link to the healthcare sector. With a team of experts in cardiology, and equipped with the latest technology in diagnostic equipment, the IMAG Cacém Centre ensure accurate results. Electrocardiogram (ECG), outpatient blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography and Doppler, exercise ECG and 24-hour Holter ECG are some of the cardiology examinations held at this unit. The IMAG Cacém experts also perform procedures in the field of interventional cardiology, namely coronary angioplasties, through an agreement with the CUF Hospital at Infante Santo. Construída de raiz e dotada de equipamentos modernos, conta com um corpo clínico altamente qualificado e dispõe de uma ampla oferta de serviços, designadamente: Tomografia Computorizada (TC); Ecografia, Mamografia e Raios-X. Ainda em 2016, tal como planeado, este centro passou a ser acessível a todos os utentes do SNS (Serviço Nacional de Saúde), ADSE e seguradoras. Established in January, IMAG Olaias results from an agreement concluded with the Social Services of Lisbon City Council, being a pioneer iniciative in the context of local government social services. Built from scratch and endowed with modern equipment, it offers a highly qualified clinical staff and a wide variety of services, namely: Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasonography, Mammography and X-Rays.
