2 Mission: MUM was established in 1996 and is hosted by the Biological Engineering Research Centre which is a centre of excellence integrated in the Institute for Biotechnology and Bioengineering (IBB - The collection maintains and provides strains for research and teaching and wish act as a centre of expertise, information and training, including MSc and PhD programmes and tailor and advances courses, in mycology.
