2 St. James R.C. Church January 3, Epiphany of the Lord My dear Parishioners, I's a new year, 2016, and it brings with it New opportunities for all of us. It is time to plan, so that what did not turn out like we had hoped, might bring new hope this new year. It is also a time to leave behind all the things that caused pain, suffering, sadness. During this year those things should no longer be a burden that we still carry on our backs. It is a time to forgive, to love, and to serve God and our brothers in Christ. Our parish is quite happy at this moment, and it has many dreams and projects for the new year. God is certainly acting in our community, and we see this from the number of people participating, and from the numerous pastoral activities performed with loving care. God is with us. The child Jesus gives us the hope that life will always triumph, even though we may have moments of death and sickness on our life's path. Jesus will triumph as will the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and our year will be a blessed one. A Special Christmas THANK YOU!!! In our busy Parish Life, we sometimes forget how many people it takes to effectively operate a vibrant faith community at St. James. So, we take this opportunity to thank all of you who serve your Parish either by assisting at Masses, preparing the church for services, doing physical labor to keep the plant in good condition, serving on committees, etc. We know you are here. Whatever you do, large or small, regularly or occasionally, we appreciate your spirit and generosity and sincerely THANK YOU! May you have a Happy New Year and may God bless you abundantly. Queridos Paroquianos, É um novo ano, 2016, e com este ano chega uma nova oportunidade na vida de cada um. Tudo o que não deu certo no ano passado agora é tempo de planejar e torcer para que dê certo este ano. É momento também de deixar algumas coisas para trás, tudo aquilo que foi motive de dor, de sofrimento e tristeza deve ser abandonado o que não era para dar certo não pode ser um peso em nossas costas neste ano. 3 quinta 21 de Janeiro 8pm Saint James Church Pretender dizer que a oração é inútil é o mesmo que afirmar que se pode chegar a algum lugar sem caminhar. É momento de perdoar, de amar e de servir a Deus e aos nossos Irmãos. Nossa Igreja se alegra por este momento e também tem muitos sonhos e projetos para este novo ano. Deus age com certeza em nossa comunidade e podemos ver isso pelo número de pessoas, de pastorais e trabalhos realizados com tanto carinho. Deus está conosco. O menino que nasceu nos dá a esperança que a vida sempre vai triunfar ainda que tenhamos momentos de morte e doenças Ele no fim reinará, o Imaculado Coração de Maria também triunfará e nosso ano será muito abençoado.
