All of these demands mean that there is a need to have the automation technician of today trained on practice-oriented training systems which convey to the student both the latest technology but also endow him or her with the required skills and competency. Operating and monitoring are essential in mastering a process and translate into both availability and productivity. The operating and monitoring training system gives the student an opportunity to gain insight into HMI technology. But advanced users are also able to profit from the simple text display provided by the Operator Panel and to train aspects of technology reaching all the way to PC-based HMI software.
